Awesome! 5 Stars all-round!!

We only stayed for one night but it was perfect! The staff who responded to our messages were very helpful and quick to respond! The Apartment was great, modern but not too much, very homely and comfortable. Loads of space inside and outside. The pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature for swimming! Wish we could have stayed for longer! Location amazing! Right near the beach, and a stones throw from town! 👌🏻

The pool was a little on the cold side for the children but it's not really advertised for it so all good there!

A double bed instead of two singles tied together would have been more comfortable.

Nice, spacious apartment with sea views.

Nice sea views from the top floor - large balcony. The pool was amazing and private - bookable slots. Tastefully appointed and spacious - well furnished. Excellent kitchen and dining area - bar and table. Large screen smart tv and comfortable sofa. Parking - short walk to the nearest beach and cafe. Information file about the local area and services. Lots of storage for clothes and belongings.

Loud cleaners and moving furniture at 8:30 am. Patio doors were dirty - sea views were not as good. Dusty under bedroom furniture and on wardrobes. Minimal pans, so difficult to cook meals - 3 mugs? Empty salt and pepper grinders - basic provision? Attention to detail - one bath mat - 2 bathrooms. Lack of shelves in the walk-in shower to put bottles. Check-in from 4:30pm and departure by 10am.

Luxury stay at Bol-y-Maer

Lovely, well-equipped luxury apartment. Very modern and comfortable with an excellent location. Dedicated parking place on site. Balcony with views of the coast and golf course. Small swimming pool in the building, which has a timetable, so each apartment can have it to themselves. As the apartment is owned by The Beach Hotel, the hotel reception is available to help with any problems.

The apartment is built on Passivhaus principles, so apart from the door to the balcony, you can't open any windows and let the fresh sea air in. Having said that, the ventilation system works very well.

We didn’t want to leave this beautiful apartment

A really fantastic property, really modern, luxurious and clean inside. The pool and booking system were great and meant you could have the pool to yourselves. Lovely bedding and towels and very comfortable beds. Brilliant view across the beach and sea. We loved it and didn’t want to leave.

Pool area, particularly the toilet/shower room could have been cleaner. The windows and glass balcony were not clean and the floor of the balcony was sandy. Communal area needed a lick of paint too.

Lovely apartment in ideal location, with everything you need on the doorstep.

really lovely apartment, in perfect location with lovely coastal walks on door step, access to several beaches, near to the town, super markets would definitely stay there again.

whilst it was clean there was some aspects I noticed during our stay, for example, hair on the bedroom headboards, bread behind the living room door on arrival, skirtings were dusty, the fan in the living room can't be put on as it is thick with dust, also the pillows were too soft. I have fed this back.

Lovely place, well furnished in a great location - would stay again

The pool was surprisingly large and private. The apartment had everything that was needed - well equipped.

There was no natural ventilation in the bedroom - the window could not be opened and the en-suite also had no exterior window - which made it quite airless except for the ventilation system which could not be controlled.

Clean, modern, fabulous bathrooms and showers

The heat was uncomfortable! There were lots of fans provided for our comfort but the heat was unbearable due to the hot weather, no window in the bedroom or en-suite and the heat rising from the indoor pool below the apartment.

Great location and lovely appartment.

The accommodation was very tidy with a lovely big sunny balcony overlooking the golf course and the sea. Kitchen was well equipped, two good sized bedrooms both with en-suites. The only slight niggle (but I know it's a personal preference) was the double bed that we used in the main bedroom was very firm, and it would probably benefit from a topper to cover the two single beds pushed together.

Just THE place to stay in BUDE !!! Nothings better than “BOL Y MAER Appartments”

Everything was awesome about this property. I have almost travelled the world but this one exceeds my expectations in every aspect. Location, upscale; eclectic, views, comfort, space, luxury, amenities, style , convenience…. Name it and it’s been thought and already taken care of. Superb !!! If it’s available, it’s the place to stay in BUDE…. !!!

Great location, smart modern property with benefit of private indoor pool.

Great location for Crooklets beach, Bude town, restaurants and Cafes. Spacious for the family, swimming pool was a fabulous addition, I loved the morning swim each day. Pool room was lovely and warm although pool water was a little fresh on entry. Great facilities, appliances, fully equipped kitchen and ability to do laundry mid week. Lovely soft pillows, duvets. Very warm and cosy. Big shower heads and complementary toiletries, also large towels were a good size (nothing better than a nice big bath towel) modern decoration.

It was a shame not to get a welcome pack like you do with most self catering properties. After a 6 hour drive and in need of a coffee the first thing was to go out and get the essentials. Would have been even worse if we'd arrived at night. Things like salt and pepper where you don't want to have to buy a full pot for a once or twice use when cooking. Clean but not spotless (although depends what you notice) The pool/room could have done with a bit of a deep clean, under the cupboard and bathroom but it wasn't horrendous. The bed in the second bedroom had a severe squeak issue which kept waking us and our boy up as it was very noisy. All minor things though and nothing that would stop us going back as overall it was a great property which we will try and visit again.

Perfect location Beautifully designed and comfortable Lovely big bed Plenty of space for our small family Great and would recommend! Only thing to mention is that the apartment was so warm. The radiators were on in the bathrooms and washing room with no obvious option to turn down or off.

Stunning apartment with everything including that you could wish for. Very comfortable for two couples and the two en-suite bathrooms are bonus. Very well equipped and very stylish apartment. Apartment 5 has great sea view and the swimming pool was a lovely treat. Great value for money and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Apartment in Bude

Really lovely 2nd floor apartment, with comfy beds - great pillows and crisp linen. Fluffy towels and great bathroom facilities with monsoon showers. Nicely appointed kitchen. A good amount of seating for 4 people and a good quality smart TV. We loved the swimming pool - we were able to book private hour slots. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea with table and chairs. Support from the Beach Hotel (who owns the apartments) to any questions was excellent.

Would have preferred a lighter duvet in the master bedroom (13.5 tog is too heavy for summer).

Große luxuriöse Wohnung mit bester und moderner Ausstattung, zwei Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und modernen Badezimmern en suite, voll ausgestattete Küche (falls man einen Weinkühlschrank braucht, wäre auch der da!), Aussicht aufs Meer und den Golfplatz, Naturschutzgebiet mit atemberaubenden Aussichten ca. Drei Gehminuten entfernt, Parkplatz vor dem Haus, Poolbenutzung möglich. Ruhige Lage. Unsere Erwartungen wurden absolut übertroffen!!!
