The apartment was beautifully finished and well equipped with everything you would need. Cream tea was a lovely touch. Very accommodating hosts.
My friend slept in the twin room, and did not sleep too well in the little bed! The double room was very comfy and lovely!!

The quality of the finish was superb — everything was new, and the entire apartment was spotlessly clean. We were greeted with welcoming touches: scones, clotted cream and jam, milk in the fridge, and coffee pods and tea bags.
The location is ideal: a short walk to the town centre and easy access to the wilder stretches of the coastal path. There's also a convenient Coop supermarket about 150m away (open 7am to 10pm).
The owners were quick to respond and very helpful when contacted.
Parking is restricted on the street outside the flat (2-hour limit from 9am to 6pm), but if you arrive after 4pm, you can park overnight. There’s a nearby pay-and-display car park, or alternative on-street options close by. This setup didn’t affect us, as we’re early risers and tend to be out most of the day.
We live in a remote barn on a Welsh mountainside, where the only sounds are wind and wildlife — so we're perhaps more sensitive to traffic noise than most.
The street outside the flat is a one-way system with a steady flow of cars during the day, although it does quieten down in the evening. From inside the flat, some traffic noise is noticeable. My wife, who has misophonia/hyperacusis, found it quite intrusive; I barely noticed it.
I suspect the vast majority of people won’t find traffic noise a problem.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect hosts and a lovely place to stay at. The beach is very close and there are good restaurants just around the corner. Good memories!
