Georgina Self-Catering Flat

Simple accommodation, very clean, had all the basics we needed.

That the bathroom didnt have a lock.

It was a very cozy and well presented place. Suited our immediate needs.

I would have prefered more cookware to be available.

The accommodation was top tier! We really enjoyed it. The host gave us all the information we needed which assisted a lot. We were able to cook as well, and enjoy a variety of things to watch on the TV. This is definetely my favourite stay in George

Nothing, it was perfect

There were good beds, clean linen, clean towels. Well equipped kitchen with necessary crockery and cutlery.

We came there, then needed to phone the landlord for the key. This after I gave the expected time of arrival that morning, and only arrived at the time I gave, between 17:00-18:00. The landlord then had to call around for this and that person to come and open the property for us. We went out for dinner, as we came back just after 19:30, we wanted to shower and get to bed as we had an early start the next morning, only to find out then that the shower do not have hot water!!! Water temp is below body temperature!!! On the info sheet it states that the geyser is on a timer, that's fine, but by 21:00 the landlord text, telling me he knew the water were hot enough, but can I please switch on the geyser, it is off by the DB board next to the fridge!!!!! HOW CAN YOU SWITH OFF A GEYSER IF IT IS ALREADY REGULATED BY A TIMER!!!! So we still did not have warm water to shower in the evening. The room are on the road side, and you hear every passing car, their music and see their lights the whole night through. There is no block-out curtains to damp light and sound. In the living room there is only one 2 seater couch for a facility that can host 4 people. There is no dining table or chairs additionally, one or two persons have to sit on the floor or stand-up eating while having breakfast or morning coffee.
