There was some constructions going on the back of the hotel, but still did not cause any inconvenience.

Price nothing else
I was highly uncomfortable with how the counter receptionist handled my checkout. Because of the hot morning weather in Dubai, I was carrying a water bottle. She provocatively insisted that I leave it behind, claiming it wasn’t allowed. Even if such a rule existed, the lack of hospitality not even offering a replacement bottle or a cup of water was very disappointing.
