We've stayed here last Christmas and decided the house was big enough to have the grandchildren over to spend Christmas eve and wait for Santa to come. We did an early Christmss this year. Everything was fine with the house. We will likely stay here again. A big thank you to Chekona and Grace for being gracious hosts.

We rented the house at Rio Rancho because it was close to my sons family home. He has one teenage son and 2 son's 9 and 11. They live in a small 2 bedroom house. We invited them to come stay with us for a few days. We had a Christmas tree. Plenty of presents. Played video games and ate tons of food. We also went to the zoo, the childrens explora and the aquarium. This house provided plenty of room and privacy for everyone. We loved it.

This home was not ready to accept guests. Three of the four TV's in the home were not operational when we arrived. The home manager did come over and she, along with another gentleman, were able to get the TV's to work; however, the TV in the master bathroom used an air antenna so the reception was " hit and miss" at best - this TV had no remote control when we arrived (one was purchased by the property manager after returning to the home a 3rd time). The home only had plates/ silverware for four individuals - our listing was for 8 people. Lastly, the home appeared to have a great deal of junk stored in it - old, dusty appliances, glasses and pots/pans. There were also clothes left in the dresser in the master bathroom. It did not appear that anyone took the time to do a 'walk through ' to see if the home was ready to rent. We definitely had better experiences using other home rental sites.
