About this villa rental
Fantastic detached villa with a pool, tennis court, and spacious garden, located in the Alcantarilha area, just a few minutes’ drive from Armação de Pera.
The nearest beaches are Armação de Pera and Praia Grande, just 14 km away.
Villa Tropical is the ideal home for a family vacation. Located in a very quiet area near Alcantarilha, it features amenities such as a game room, a tennis court, a private sun terrace, and spacious common areas designed to promote family leisure.
However, we have not overlooked the modern-day need for the villa to offer high-speed Wi-Fi for both leisure and professional use. It also features a “Meo” package with 169 channels, as well as satellite channels.
The first floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large kitchen, and spacious living and dining areas with direct access to the pool and green spaces.
The first floor has two more bedrooms, a bathroom, and a terrace/sun deck with outdoor furniture.
All bedrooms are air-conditioned. They also feature a hair dryer and a safe.
The villa’s exterior delights those seeking rest, peace, privacy, and a connection with nature.
The 4,000 m² of fenced property surrounding the house offers plenty of privacy. Here you can find a vast variety of trees and garden plants and flowers, as well as trees typical of the Algarve region and their respective fruits: almond trees, carob trees, and various types of fig trees.
The pool area is very spacious, enjoys plenty of sun, and has all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation by the pool. Next to the pool, you’ll find an outdoor shower.
The villa also features a barbecue area and an outdoor game room with a ping-pong table and foosball.
The tennis court encourages physical activity while providing moments of pure fun for those new to the sport.

Pros:
Nice holiday home with plenty of space.
Good BBQ. Loved the tennis court. Good wifi.
Very flexible, helpful and responsive owner.
Cons:
House is a bit too cold for January. Inadequate heating which made the interior chilly and damp.

My family and I had an amazing time in the villa. We enjoyed swimming in the private pool, playing tennis anytime we wanted to, as well as table tennis and table football. The villa was clean, spacious with a spectacular garden with its own lemon tree. The only one problem is next door has a dog that barks at night.

Kitchen facilities very dated. The oven kept tripping if 2 hobs were used and oven at same time. Sink had a lot of grime with a black plastic lump; not hygienic, and no sink plug. Not enough seating in Living room for 8 people. Not enough hot water for 8 people at 1 time. No aircon in living room or kitchen; kitchen become unbearable when trying to cook. Pool was green by the end of the holiday, all our inflatable were stained yellow from being in the water. Table tennis table unsafe; edge is peeling badly exposing sharp edges. My grandson had a nasty cut on his chest. Communication was good before arrival. The tennis court was a nice addition.
