Cosy modern house, great decor. 20 min walk to centre along pleasant canal side with a few pubs and access to lare Waitrose. Good communication with owner, easy instructions for key from key box. Nice bathroom which could do with a safety mat in the bath for stepping onto as slippery, plenty of hot water for shower and kitchen which was well equipped. Free parking on the street outside was available.
My husband slept on the sofa bed which gave way in the middle and also sank down a lot when using it as a sofa. The beds upstairs were on the hard side but this is personal preference of course. It would help if the board games were checked as none of them had all the contents so we were unable to play anything. I would have taken my own for the grandchildren had I have known - this does not deter me from going again though, it was a ppleasant stay.

Location was great. We stayed at the property while on a visit to Chester Zoo which was only a short drive away. Decor was nice and beds were both comfy.
The level of cleanliness was fine however the property is probably due a deep clean.

Location to Hoole and city centre excellent Loved recent decorations
Couldn’t open the back door to allow some fresh air in bcos of the piles of rubbish in back yard lots of flies around it. Tiny back yard size was not an issue but therefore no excuse for it to be such a mess. Sorry about
