Green Hotel ANG

The hotel and room had everything we needed. The pool and bar area were great. We chose the hotel as close to the sport palace, and it was not far from the town and some great restaurants. Above all, the hosts were fantastic. Very welcoming, and accommodating.

Hotel location is very close to Gori town center, Stalin Museum and Gori Fortress. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful with a big open buffet. Our host was extremely hospitable, kind and helpful.

Greeting when arrived with a guy cleaning the pool, sat with him until receptionist came, had a bottle of wine with us and was great fun, I thought I'd hit the jackpot, the bar by the pool is really a nice feature but when I was there nobody seemed to use it, so much more could be made of this and the man we saw would a superb host, think he would be fun, they have their own wine as well. Room was spacious and ok, comfortable, bathroom facilities up to date and room was clean. Pool was clean and nice once you got past the cold.

No receptionist when you needed one, wouldn't allow my friends from their hotel across the street to use the bar, they'd have taken a lot of money that night. The bathroom smelt terribly, they did seem to clean the pipes and I ran the shower for a while but the smell was still there. The shower head leaked and there was no adjustment for it. Breakfast basic but this seems normal for the area. Local dogs bark a lot during the night, noise cancelling Air pods were a god send. Again this seems normal for the locals. Double glazing would have been good. Wifi ok but not reliable.
