It was a very comfortable stay in a beautifully decorated home and met all our needs. Super close to the main street. The hosts went above and beyond to assist which is most appreciated.

The Village Cottage is perfectly positioned to explore the main part of Franschhoek by foot. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance (no drinking and driving problems). The cottage was extremely beautifully designed with an eye for detail. The air conditioning in all the rooms was a great bonus as it is very hot. The bathrooms were of a very modern design and catered for all our needs. The kitchen is very well equipped and of the highest standard. The complementary champagne and chocolates was most welcome after a long drive. The supply of milk for our morning coffee was also appreciated. On departure we met Claire who was most hospitable. All in all you can't fault this beautiful establishment.

Village Cottage is located one street off the Main Street which makes it a wonderful location for walking into Franschhoek. The cottage is beautifully furnished and all amenities you could wish for are there for you, including a single garage as well as a designated parking spot. Beds are very comfortable and showers are perfect. This is a beautiful home that we will return to on our next visit to Franschhoek.

The property is in an excellent position, allowing easy walks to the town attractions. Fantastic communication with owners and the property itself is exceptional. Beautiful throughout, we loved it.
