Chambres d'Hôtes Centre Ville

From the time I was picked up at the airport right through to arriving at the hotel in the small hours, I was made to feel very welcome. You need to understand that the property is upstairs and 'inside' in that the rooms don't face the street and have no view as such. My room and maybe 4 others were centred around a central dining room where breakfast was served. I could see that there might be some potential for noise with this layout, but I had no such problems during my stay of nearly a week. As for the room, the aircon was very effective and the bed was very comfy. There was plenty of storage and good water pressure and temperature from the shower. I didn't use the TV but took a tablet with a VPN so I could watch the UK coverage of the World Cup. The WiFi was strong and I had no buffering whilst streaming. Breakfast was a cooked meal, and they catered for me as a vegetarian with either omelettes or pancakes. There is a coffee machine with 2 free capsules plus a flask of hot water and a water cooler with filtered water which is fine for our delicate European stomachs! The location is great - a short walk to museums and the port for Goreé island. Taxis are so cheap that getting around the city to see everything is a breeze. I used a combination of the Yango app and 'normal' taxi drivers. I did find that a lot of them didn't have much small change (I didn't mind letting them keep the extra) but I understand there's an app called Wave which everyone seems to use to pay. There's also a fantastic Indian restaurant a short stroll away too. Staff are great, including the cheery doorman, and you can send a WhatsApp message (in English) to the owner for anything whilst you're there. Many thanks to them for making my stay in Senegal so carefree and memorable. As long as you get the layout of the hotel I think you'll have a great time there.

Local Muito central. ainda que os quartos não tenham vista paisagísticas , é inserido num bairro local relativamente perto da zona antiga de Dacar. Pequeno almoço generoso. Staff muito prestável e simpático ! A Equipa sabe falar inglês e deram uma Ajuda preciosa nos transportes de entre os vários locais.

Superbe établissement ! Le quartier est très sécurisé, puisque vous êtes situé juste en face de la gendarmerie. Le propriétaire a été très gentil et accueillant. Il nous a même donné de précieux conseils pour notre séjour, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Je recommande totalement cet établissement.

Un petit tapis dans les toilettes aurait été bienvenus, sinon rien à signaler.
