Good price for a very central location, and 10 minutes walk to the Goree ferry or to the train station.
A little old (has character) but well maintained and clean. Showers hot if a bit weak, WiFi largely ok, though drops in and out. Plugs by the bed.
Food is reasonably priced and ok, though there are several more expensive restaurants nearby as well, and a large supermarket on the other side of the nearby Kemal market.
Staff friendly, most speak French, few speak English.

The environment is nice and we enjoyed our stay. All the staff (both cleaning and at the reception) are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and we had food at 9pm after a long flight. Value for money hotel in the city center.

It just looks significantly different from the pictures which makes it feel pricey for what I got. Quite old and a weird odor in the bathroom. Otherwise not a bad choice.
