Carantec is a lovely part of France, and staying in this home makes it all the more lovely. This charming home can be found just a one-minute walk from Plage de la Grève Blanche, where you can stroll along the shore skimming stones and paddling in the shallows. When you return home from the beach, with the salt sea air in your hair, you might sit out in the garden to enjoy the last of the day’s sunshine. The courtyard is best early in the morning, when you can revel in the peace and quiet of this home. We love the terrace in the evenings – fire up the barbecue to grill locally caught fresh fish and pop open a bottle of wine. We could merrily while away hours in this way, spending time with loved ones and feeling the stresses of everyday life drift away on the sea breeze. Inside, you’ll find a tranquil haven. Neutral hues blend with cosy, soft furnishings and natural wood shades. The living and dining space is utterly serene, the perfect place to unwind. If the weather turns chilly, gather around the stone fireplace to play cards, or curl up with a good book from the library upstairs. This is a quiet, residential area, but it takes only fifteen minutes to walk into the village. Shop in the local stores and perhaps pop into a cafe for a slice of cake and a coffee.
