Your home’s idyllic location in Vogüé, undeniably one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France, means you’re within metres of both the Château, and the Ardèche river. Walk from Saint Cerice Chapel, a Roman church built into the rock and overlooking the village, along a footbath to the Château before heading down to the riverside beach to sunbathe and swim. Alternatively, hire canoes or get on your bike and set off on the Via Ardèche, a straight 25 km cycle path from Vogüé to Grospierres. Whatever you do, don’t forget to indulge in some local food and wine and live life as it were a beautiful dream.
