Great apartment and very friendly staff!

The apartment was cosy, clean and located nicely on the slopes. The spa facility is great as well as the lockers for ski equipment. Also very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again if ever in Les Arcs in the future. Thanks for a pleasant week!

Fantastic place for families with children.

The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and suitable for families and friends. Depending in which part you live in you might need to walk through the building to get to the top so you have easy access to the village. Good communication with reception via WhatsApp.

Cannot say I didn't like something - cleaning the kitchen area is nothing bad taking into consideration that the only thing you need to do the dishes in a dishwasher, then take them out, empty the bins and wipe down the worktops. Quite reasonable and standard in the Alps. The only downside was that they don't supply duvet/pillows for children and you have to bring your own - it was saying in the email but I didn't pick this up - my bad.

Just fabulous! Excellent location and very well fitted out. 1950 is a fantastic village, perfect for all level of skiers. The apartment was fitted to a very high standard, the hot tub was wonderful after a days skiing 100 %

The accommodation is a great addition to Arc 1950

Giles was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We loved the location near the slopes. The large ski locker was a great bonus. The whole building is designed to a high spec and was also spotlessly clean.

Next time we will ask not to be on the ground floor. We would have preferred to have been up a level as it would have felt more private. The snowball fights and sledging was a bit invasive!

Ski-in, Ski-out is something you will never go without once you’ve had it! brand new building and all immaculate inside including all appliances etc. Helpful team at reception.

No mugs or cups to have a coffee or tea. Just glasses. Also need oven tray for cooking things like a pizza. Small things! We had a room on the non-sunny side which made a huge difference from about 4pm of you wanted to relax on the patio.

In the end, we had a good week. But there are significant issues with health and safety.

The location was good, and the styling of the apartments / duplex’s are very beautifully finished.

Major issues. Wiring was faulty and so was the wood burner. On the 2nd night, we woke up at 4am to find our duplex filled thick with smoke from the flue of the wood burner, made horribly worse that the fire alarms didn’t trigger properly. It was absolutely terrifying. We called the residence emergency number who didn’t initially, and then when they did answer they seemed very irritated to have to come out at 4.30am. He was very reluctant to move us to a different apartment, despite there being thick smoke all over the place and the corridors and all clothing / fabrics / floors thick with the smell of toxic smoke. We had our 3 small children out on the balcony wrapped in duvets and dressing gowns trying to breathe fresh air and they still seemed to not fully see how distressed we were. We almost left to go home as they managed this so badly, and it really upset us, but we didn’t want our children to be affected, so we decided to stay, and we did have a lovely time once we had moved. We were grateful to have been moved, but this should never have happened in the first place, and should have been managed so so much better. It could have been exceptionally dangerous / life threatening.

One word - Amazing!!

This place is amazing. Excellent location (couldn't be better). Apartment was beautiful with an amazing view - It was clean, spacious and airy. The kitchen was equiped really well with modern appliances and everyhing you could possibly need. The bathrooms were of very high spec with powerful showers. Excellent sauna and steam room which went down well after a day skiing. The manager was extremely helpful in answering our questions. I am very fussy about where we stay and couldn't recommend this place enough.

Excellent ski in/ski out family vacation

Fantastic modern ski in/ski out family apartment just outside the 1950 Village directly on the slopes next to two lifts (Marmottes and Bois de l'Ours). Great balcony and views. Large ski locker and equipment rental on site through Intersport. Free underground parking. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans (there was even a fondue set). Easy walk into the 1950 Village for restaurants and the Carrefour Market. The TV even had quite a few English channels.

Could have used some oven mitts. No hot tub access unless booking one of the larger apartments (hot tub/pool in Bldg A is not accessible as it's operated by another company). The wifi was spotty at first but worked great after we were given a new code.

Superb apartment in an excellent location with fantastic facilities. Convenient and secure underground car parking with EV charging available. Gilles the manager was absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Kiváló felszereltség, megfelelő méretű szobák saját zuhanyzó szobákkal! Lehetne 2 db wc, de 4 embernek éppen megfelelő, 6 főnek már nem. Az elhelyezkedés-sí tároló-parkoló kombó tökéletes, könnyem megközelíthető, és közel van egymáshoz, a logisztika könnyem megoldható házon belül.A pályáról némi helyismeret szerzése után, könnyedén megoldható a házhoz csúszás. A faluba felsétálva minden bevásárlás, és szórakozás megoldható, legyen az pékség, élelmiszer bolt, vagy éjszakai bár. Több étterem is lehetőséget szolgáltat vacsorára, vagy ebédre, és hangulatos kocsmák pedig a kultúrált és szofisztikált alkohol fogyasztásra. A síterep kiváló akár kezdő vagy, akár extrém síző, az időjárás nyilván már más lapra tartozik. Reggel ragyogó napsütésből akár 1 óra leforgása alatt, tud szakadó hó kerekedni rossz látási viszonyokkal! Összességében maradandó jó emlék volt az itt töltött 1 hét, mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom! (Az árak európai síterepekhez viszonyítva Svájc után itt a legmagasabbak, minden tekintetben.)

Lehetne 2 wc, de ez nyilván már megoldhatatlan, és az apartmanokban, a porszívó mellet be kellene tenni egy felmosó szettet, mert néha havas lábbal bemenve fel tudnák törölni a felolvadt havat!

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einem top Apartment

Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön und gut ausgestattet. Lage direkt an der Piste und tolle Aussicht auf die Berge. Ein toller Skikeller mit abschließbarem Schrank und Heizung ist vorhanden sowie eine große Parkgarage. Auch das Dampfbad ist klasse.

Gefallen hat uns nicht, dass es keinen sicheren Weg ins Dorf gibt und man teilweise auf der Piste laufen muss (wenn auch nur wenige Meter). Auch wurden die Wege vom Skikeller zur Piste oder zur Rezeption nicht vom Eis befreit, so dass es sehr rutschig war.
