I do not speak Arabic and I did not have problem communicating. Great breakfast, generous portion! On my last day I had to request less food as not to waste! Fix the breakfast time with staff a night before. Spacious room with mosquito repellent (plug in type) and ceiling fan. Spacious outdoor sitting area with roof just outside of the house/room doors with a view of lake Qarun. One level below had a nice yard with swing and table / chairs. Kitchen was small but fridge was nice size. One bathroom with 3 bedrooms (one even had a crib), but there is another toilet on the main "lobby" area also. Staff brought things upon request (extra toilet paper, etc). It is just across the street from Ibis hotel, and about 7-15 minutes walk to the center of Tunis Village (depending on where you consider to be the center). A convenience store 5 min walk away. When going to village main street, use the street adjacent to Ibis Hotel. They also provide a driver to Wadi El Hitan and other places. I went to Wadi El Hitan alone, and could not afford a whole car price that ranged $180-250 by myself. They gave me a really good price just for one person (me), and I was not rushed, could take my time at Wadi El Hitan. Thank you!!

Not sure if hot water worked, but I was there in April and warm water was fine to shower with. Toilet / shower in the same space, so after a shower, the bathroom floor gets wet. They provided a squeegee broom. During the early morning like 8am, there was a day I could not find staff on premise (sleeping?). They always responded to whatsapp message promptly though. It would be also nice to have a string or rope to be able to hang-dry clothes after handwashing them. Also would be great if they provided a bed sheet for cover (in addition to the sheet on mattress they provided). I like to have a sheet between me and the blanket :)

The breakfast was very good. Enough quantity and , variety of items. Specious house, friendly owner and clean rooms.
