Limon Palm Springs

LIMON is absolutely one of the best boutique properties in Palm Springs. I've stayed twice so far and each visit get better. Service is impeccable. I stay in Room 2, which is the Premier Suite on the Limon property; its perfect; although all the rooms are pristine. Andrew is literally the best property manager ever, and attends to your every need.

We were initially greeted by a kind man, but communication after that was poor at best. As other reviews state, there is no service outside of a person when you check-in—you have to message for needs. On day one, within a short time of checking in, we messaged to let them know the sink water was running out like milk—very white. They said they’d send a maintenance person to check it. No one ever came to fix it. The housekeeper came to see it and agreed that it was weird and gross looking. She said they would have maintenance come, but no one did. We had to use the shower to brush our teeth and such. It was such a pain. Also, the pool was so dirty that we never even swam in it. My husband and I tried to clean it as best as we could--but after two hours of trying, it still wasn't clean. I literally stood in for a few minutes but had to get out from how much debris, insects, and feathers were around me. I’m pregnant and had been looking forward to relieving some pressure in the water, so I’m very disappointed with how the overall service was. The room was nice enough, but we came for the whole package. On top of all this. When we shared this info with them, they completely ignored us. No response, no apology, nothing. We love traveling and take as many opportunities for quick interstate travel as possible, but this experience left us with a bad impression of Limon.

First, the good: Decor gets an A-. Beautiful interior decoration, but no hooks on closet or bathroom doors to hang wet towels, bathing suits, no towel bar on wall by bathroom sink. Now, the bad: 1 - My stay at Limon got off to a terrible start with a threatening text message saying they were going to cancel my reservation if I did not respond "soon". I was on a plane when text messages were sent, and received this message when my plane landed at 5pm on the day of my check in. The website says that in-person check-in is from 3-6pm and to make arrangements for check-in outside of this window. When I arrived to check-in at 5:30pm, there was no apology or acknowledgement of cancelation threat. The "free gift at check-in" is an alcoholic popsicle, FYI. 2 - Not enough chaise lounges for everyone staying there. This motel has 5 rooms and one suite, which is capacity for 14 guests, yet they only have 6 lounge chairs at the pool, so we had to get up early to reserve our chairs, and feel guilty about the sad looks from the guests didn't get a lounge chair. 3 - There is no staff onsite except for 1 hour breakfast from 9-10am and 3-5pm *if* anyone is checking in that day. Any requests are accomodated (or not) by sending a text message.(request for more lounges was not accomodated) Not sure why other reviews mention service when there is no service. 4 - You do not have access to the kitchen except for the 1-3 hours while someone is there. Door is locked.

Absolutely amazing! Love this place. We will be staying here again. Possibly every time we visit Palm Springs. Andy was fabulous and made us feel very welcomed and like family/friends.

Great location, excellent, simple, modern property, but it was the staff that made it outstanding. Although no one is on site full time. Andy made the Check In fun and easy. Linda came by for breakfast service and shared so much about the property in the area. A great soul.

Great little boutique hotel! Stayed 4 nights. The rooms were big and spacious and clean and exactly as shown in the online photos. The staff were great! Although the hotel does not have a Reception/Check In and there are no staff on the premises after hours, we were sent daily texts asking if we needed anything. A light breakfast/snacks was available every morning at 10am and there was always another staff member around at 3pm to greet guests who were checking in. The neighbourhood was incredibly quiet. Loved our stay and would definitely go back to Limon again!

What an amazing experience! Andy checked us in and was so easy to talk to and super helpful! Beautiful property that feels like home. Breakfast was great. Bars, oatmeal, yogurt, waters, electrolytes and fantastic coffee. We cannot wait to go back!! We did not want to leave!

Enjoyed staying at Limon. The morning lite breakfast gathering is a great way to easy into the day. The space is in a great location. Not too far from downtown. A 2 minite Lyft ride

The staff were fantastic, pool area was perfect! The property is in a quiet, pretty neighborhood, and we loved the design and decor.

I love the very personal feeling this property offers. You feel like you are home. The decor is done with such attention to fashion . Lovely place

The hotel was OK. I was expecting it to be a full hotel, but there wasn’t even a lobby. It was decorated cute and they had concierge in the morning. But they are very hard to contact and are not helpful at all. I left my camera on the bed And tried to contact them four times before hearing back and they told me they weren’t able to find it even though it was definitely on the bed and I even offered a reward and called multiple times. They never gave me an update like they said they would. I am very disappointed and , do not understand why they would steal this camera. Its not even expensive just holds a lot of memories. If they accidentally washed it when doing bedding, I understand even though the bed was made so would’ve been easy to locate. There has been no communication and no customer service on this matter. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend.

This small hotel is great. This is somewhat a mix between and AirBNB and a hotel. They send you a text message after you book and ask when you are planning on showing up. There is a window between 3-6 if you want to meet a person. For those that like more of a 24 hour feel where you show up when you want, I just thought it would be important to note. The hotel was clean and new, and also room sizes are large. It is about a mile away from the downtown area.

Came for a girls weekend and Limon was perfect. Quietly tucked away off the main road, it felt like your own secluded oasis. We enjoyed the pool, most often to ourselves, the beds were comfy, and the small convenient breakfast was a great way to start our day. Lynda and Andy helped us during our stay and were easy to talk to and super helpful. The decor is fun and fresh, the private patio outside each bedroom was wonderful too. Would love to come back again.

The place is great, but the management leaves room for improvement.Gorgeous styling, a must see for any mid-century modern enthusiast. Great set up with spacious studio apartment size rooms surrounding the pool. On the downside, weird check in process, poor sound insulation, and unexplained extra charges as a surprise at the back end leaving mixed vibes about the otherwise gorgeous place.

Beautifully updated and appointed, intimate, quiet, minutes from downtown and a perfect den of relaxation for a romantic getaway.

Amazing boutique mid century style hotel! Was super pleased with the attention to detail. What was somewhat disappointing was the 3rd party who manages the property. They were unresponsive to our various emails and texts to extend our stay or to check in earlier. That part was very disappointing even though the women who checked us in said she would respond to our texts via the number provided.

This hotel is very unique. A small private property. Beautifully decorated Mid century style. Will stay there again.

Mid-century marvel! This unique lodging exceeded what we expected. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Nice pool area, complete with a barbecue, and spa. We cannot wait to go back!

It was just okay. We checked in after a large party checked out. The place was a mess. They were in clean up mode. But they did get it cleaned up. They kept the trash can up front and they were overflowing. So we got to see that every day. The ac/heat was noisy. The bathroom had no towel racks. The room had a small refrigerator but we only had ice the first day. For 300 a night it was pretty basic. I would not stay there again.

This is a very unique property. Lynda and Loren were constantly in touch and very helpful with any inquiry we had. The room was gorgeous and very spacious, the bed also very comfortable. No coffee maker in room . Would definitely return.

Limón is perfect. We had an excellent time here. We'll come again next year for sure.
