The space
Inspired by the costal cottages in Santa Barbara, the design of The Magnolia Jane is bright, airy, and timeless.
You enter the bright and newly renovated townhome you are welcomed by the beautiful shiplap electric fireplace that showcases an authentic barn wood beam mantle and 50" Smart TV.
There is a designated desk with plenty of outlets, and fast WiFi for you to work or play. The living space is bright and open to the eat-in kitchen featuring loads of storage, a bar that seats 3 and a dining set that seats 3. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and essentials to get you started on your cooking as well as takeaway coffee cups. You will find an assortment of complimentary k-cups in the drawer beneath the Keurig K-Cup Duo, as well as local ground coffee if you would like to brew a pot.
The doorway in the kitchen will take you down to the master suite, as well as the utility room with the washer/dryer, utility sink and ironing supplies.
The lower level suite boasts a queen sized bed, 40" Smart TV and a luxurious bathroom with a beautiful tile walk-in shower. The bedroom offers a nice closet with luggage rack and surprise built-in storage under the TV for all your belongings.
On the top floor are two hotel worthy bedrooms, both uniquely designed, with queen sized beds. They each are outfitted with Smart TV's, blackout curtains, sizable closets with luggage racks, and hangers to stow your things. The largest bedroom has a remote controlled ceiling fan, which is located next to the light switch. The other bedroom has a small writing desk for you to have a second private working space within the townhouse.
Off the kitchen is a private back porch with a conversation set for you to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. Just past your private porch is the common backyard with ample green space for playing games or lounging in the sun. There is a common patio space with a custom built outdoor sectional and adirondack chairs so you can cozy up to the fire table, day or night!
There is a single stall garage for you to park in while you stay with us! There is also ample on street parking just out front of the building.

You walk through the charming stone archway and enter The Magnolia Jane through the door on the right hand side. Off the kitchen is a private patio space we hope you enjoy. We also have a beautiful communal outdoor living space equipped with a propane fire table (instructions on how to use are on the table - if you have any problems don't hesitate to reach out!). Please, make yourself at home!

My family travelled from Chicago to attend the OSU/UCLA game. We hadn't been to Columbus in years and were amazed at how much the city has changed. We chose to stay in Grandview Heights because of it's proximity to campus, but the area is much more than just "close by". It is filled with restaurants, safe and is very walkable. The house is welcoming from the moment you pull up. They have gas lamps on the exterior that give it a warm/cozy vibe. We parked on the street right in front with no problem. The house layout was perfect for my family. There is a first floor sitting room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs for my sons and a bedroom/bath downstairs which my husband and I stayed in. There is also a laundry room in the lower level. The showers had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable. TVs in every bedroom and other small touches that made our stay comfortable like battery operated candles, and complementary popcorn. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Columbus. GO BUCKS!

Three of us stayed for our annual holiday weekend. The property worked very well- we had room to relax and all had our own bedrooms. The kitchen was nice for breakfast and appetizers. The location is in a nice area of Columbus and conveniently located. We hard no problem getting street parking - our vehicles were too large for the garage. The property owners had wonderful communication. We had an easy check in. All three of us commented how simple check out was also. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great hosts !

Absolutely everything was exactly as described in the listing and we could not have been happier with our stay! Immaculately clean, comfortable beds, plenty of amenities to make us feel relaxed and at home. Staying here will definitely be part of our tradition when we visit Columbus in the years to come!

The house was stellar! Very comfortable rooms and charming house. Usually travel to Columbus at this same time each year. Will definitely be booking again! Great owner responses.
