The bedrooms consist of two super-king-size and a twin, all with Smart TV, en-suites, and one with zip/link features, along with a cloakroom. Outside, you will find an enclosed front garden with patio, furniture, off grid,wood-fired hot tub for four, and bike storage, as well as ample off-road parking for three cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Within 2.4 miles, you will find a shop, and within 2.5 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £350. The National Collection of water lilies is housed in the 8-acre Burnby Hall Gardens, which also serve as a popular tourist attraction. Majestic Castle Howard, lovely Sledmere House, and the ancient city of York are all within easy driving distance. In addition to a Civic Centre and the Pocklington Arts Centre, which host film screenings and live performances throughout the year, Pocklington is home to a leisure centre where residents can participate in a variety of sports, including swimming. Not far from Pocklington is the KP Golf Club, which features a stylish bar and restaurant, a wedding and other event venue, and an 18-hole championship golf course. The Madhyamaka Kadampa Meditation Centre is also located in Pocklington and is well-known for its meditation courses and retreats. Direction for finding the property and for check in were absolutely perfect.This property is beautiful. Parking was ideal for our 3 cars, and the location to York is great.Nearby Pocklington has some amazing coffee shops and delicatessens which will be ideal if you want food in the property.Just a couple of things would have made it 100%…No connection to the furthest bedroom for Internet was an issue, as was the lack of TV signal….easily rectified with a signal booster in the hall.Perhaps leave a few more logs for the log burner as we ran out…you did need this lit for the colder weather as the air source heating isn’t the most effective. Also the bedrooms became really condensated too, especially in the mornings. We didn’t use the hot tub as it was a log burner type and as we were only there for 3 nights, it was too much of a hassle to fill it with water (it’s left empty) and then heat it…not sure if there were chemicals there though?On a positive note though, the welcome hamper was amazing and really thoughtful, the cottage was lovely and each bedroom wasn’t a step down from each other…they were all amazing rooms with their own bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place..
