Hoot Owl Hideaway is a charming, historic retreat nestled in the heart of scenic Southwest Virginia. Originally built in 1870 as a small two-room house and later expanded. This property was lovingly restored and transformed into a cozy retreat in 2019, offering the perfect blend of rustic character, from the pull-chain lights and some original hardware, as well as all the modern comforts. This retreat is ideal for ATV enthusiasts looking for a nightly or weekly cabin rental. You will be able to access Spearhead's Coal Canyon trail at the end of the driveway! It's the perfect place to return after an adventure filled day of trail-riding. A stocked catfish pond is also located on the property, so don’t forget your fishing poles!
Hoot Owl Hideaway offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and has all the essentials for your stay. WIFI is available and the TV is equipped with ROKU. You will enjoy your own space with plenty of parking for your ATV trailers. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, cookware, crockpot, utensils, and both coffee maker and Keurig. Bed linens and dish towels are provided, but please bring your own bath towels.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. Everything was nice. The cabin was quiet and clean. Billy was so thoughtful and made sure we made it into the cabin site with our trailer. Was able to ride on trail leaving right from the cabin It was a wonderful weekend we will be back.

We loved this little cabin. Felt like we could hide away from the world. Tucked away but still easily accessible and plenty to do in the area. Would definitely return!
