Halcy’s Haven, Studio Condo at the Heart of Davao

It‘s in the heart of the city (perfect location for my daily routes) Minimalist, clean, practical. Balcony view of North Davao and Samal Island. The owner/caretaker was nice to turn the aircon on before I enter the apartment (although for me, not a must) I just need a clean and functional space. Silent A/C & comfy bed 😌 Great water pressure 👍🏽 Washing machine & Dryer for daily washing 👍🏽👍🏽 Considerably quiet for it’s location, but still use earplugs if you are a light sleeper ☝🏽 Netflix is functional 😉 Friendly security guards, especially ate guard on the ground floor

During my stay, I had difficulty to open the main doorway because it was stucked on the upper right door frame. The cabinets‘ (specifically the closet & broom cabinets) hinges were loose. I did report it to them and did told me to repair them. However, I really wasn’t bothered, since I also didn’t need a lot of closet space for my 16 days stay. Bath shelves are also a little lose & hanging, so had difficulty putting stuffs on it. The faucet kept dripping throughout my stay. The washer and dryer can move during the spin cycle 😅 so, need to be in the apartment when it’s on to avoid being locked out of the apartment. It would be nice for the next traveller, if these issues be repaired.

The view from the balcony has a nice view. They also have a washing machine, iron and hair dryer which is very useful.

So comfortable and homey.

Internet gets disconnected from time to time.

It is right beside Abreeza mall where I can get everything I need. Very accessible

There were issues at first but it was resolved right away. The host was courteous and kind and went out of her way to assist me.
