Historic Charm with Parking in Center of Midtown

Nice little apartment in midtown with everything you could need to stay for a few days. The hosts are super gracious and lovely.

Slightly away from restaurants and activities, but nothing that isn’t workable with a good stretch of the legs or quick zip with a rental.

This house was conveniently located near my work sites. It was clean and well appointed. Air conditioners in each bedroom kept the place delightfully cool, at the end of a hot Sac'to spring day. The digital combo lock access method made for extremely easy "check-in". The minimal list of check-out duties (turn out the lights, and lock the door behind you) made for swift and easy departure, too.

Oh, the bed was a little firm for my taste, but didn't interfere with my sleep. The Roku TV had a bit of a learning arc, but nothing too onerous. Really, nothing to complain about in our brief stay. I was a little puzzled that, in using booking.com, I'd anticipated I was booking a hotel space, so I was surprised to find it was just an AirBnB by a different name (underscored by "airbnb" showing up in the WiFi address). But that's on me: I really should have been tipped off by how the nightly price listed on the site suddenly increased by another 50% upon booking (or, hey, by maybe paying more attention to all the info in the listing).

The property had a very noisy neighbors, could not sleep all night.
