We had an absolutely amazing time at this villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The villa itself is stunning – beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and surrounded by peaceful nature. Every detail, from the comfortable beds to the breathtaking views, was perfect. What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was the team. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging transport, preparing delicious breakfasts, or simply making sure we were comfortable, they took care of everything with genuine care and professionalism. We felt completely relaxed and at home – like part of the family. This place is a hidden gem, and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be coming back!

Luxurious dreamlike paradise.

As far as a property is concerned, when you dream of Bali, you dream of a place like Casa Pohon. It’s nestled in the midst of Bali rice fields and close to all of the most amazing attractions and activities. They have drivers who can take you anywhere you wish. Casa Pohon’s driver Budi became a friend. He was wonderful. The property itself is beautiful with tropical flowers, luscious plants and amazing sounds of birds and cicadas waking you up in the morning . When you wake up to the open air living room, you breathe Bali It is luxurious, quiet, peaceful. The breakfast there is delicious from fried rice to yogurt bowls to pancakes accompanied by balinese coffees and tropical juices. You can even get a floating breakfast as you swim in the pool. Little touches make Casa Pohon excellent- from the complimentary aromatic bug spray, the potable water jugs refills to the water bottles in the bathroom, they thought of everything to make you stay comfortable. Customer service is on point. I communicated with Whatsapp and the response was immediate. Kris and Rika were very friendly and accommodating. Communication is clear a week before travel and during your whole stay. I couldn’t recommend any other place. I’ll be back very soon.

Widely exceeded our expectations! Great place and hosts.

The staff were very helpful and made our stay very comfortable by all means. They never said 'no' to any of our requests and were very accomodating specially Chris at the reception. The villa looks very private facing the jungle and the whole place was kept very clean and tidy day-in and out by the staff. The rooms were huge, the open kitchen and the living room were well thought of- specially the see-through glass by the pool. Even the outdoor shower was great to have.

The villa and facilities are amazing. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The quality of the furniture and breakfast was fantastic. I loved the attention to detail all around the place.

Despite the amazing view, I was able to hear street noises from a distance and construction work from time to time during day time. The location is a bit tricky to reach by car or motorbike. We spent A$ 500 per night late April for a one-bedroom villa, and I think it was overpriced.

the road heading to the villa is too narrow for bigger family cars, so it is convenience for family carrying more than one piece of huge luggages. also, that road surface is broken and uneven, my family had to carry everything to walk along that broken road leading to the villa for about 5 minutes

the villa is really good overall

1- the staff are very friendly and helpful and they respond very quickly. 2- The villa design is really nice. 3- the washroom has a bidet which is really good. 4- they have a closet to keep our luggage away from the room.

1- the pool doesn’t have heater so the water is really cold we couldn’t even use it once. 2- as the villa location is in the middle of the forest so they have to focus on cleaning the out door area from spiders nest as we couldn’t use the rope roof. 3- the breakfast could be improved 4- please note that road is very very narrow to reach the location. 5- the constructions around is a bit noisy in the morning.

Casa Pohon is a collection of three beautiful private villas in the Bali countryside outside Ubud. The peace, tranquility and fantastic jungle views is almost priceless. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

an absolute dream!

There are not enough words to describe Casa Pohon Ubud. The villas are a piece of heaven designed to experience the beautiful nature of Ubud yet allowing guests to destress and relax. The service was impeccable and we felt very well taken care of. This place is a 15 minute drive from the center, but the hotel will help find car services which were very cheap and always on time. I can’t recommend this place enough. I know I will be back, it was an absolute dream.

Spacious family villa immerse in nature We book at Casa Pohon hoping for some quiet time during our hectic Bali trip. The 2 bed villa was indeed the best choice among the many options online, and it was the best place we stayed throughout the whole holiday. Really beautiful and well designed space, and exquisite interiors. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen functional, and the breakfast was freshly prepared every morning. Surely a must go if you decide to stay in the area. Thanks to the staff and hopefully see you next year!

Incredible Ubud experience! We booked a last minute stay at Casa Pohon, the River House was simply stunning. It sits on a terraced land by the river and rice fields, right into a stretch of tropical forest. The sound of nature is present all day long, and this is exactly what we were expecting. The villa has a lot of space and all the comfort you can expect by a freshly built house. The quality and the details of the wood is what makes the difference, we were really impressed by the fine craftsmanship. The service was well organised, breakfast was delicious and served at your preferred time in villa. There is a private parking, and Ubud main road is less than 10 min away. Big thanks to the team to make our Ubud stay impeccable :)

La décoration est magnifique, les petit dej très copieux, beaucoup de réactivité, un havre de paix proche du centre d'Ubud. La salle de bain est incroyable, et la baignoire extérieure aussi. Nous avons adoré la tranquilité de la villa et sa décoration.

L'accessibilité n'est pas aisée, mais ce n'est pas trop dérangeant, sauf si vous voulez sortir de la villa et faire des activités aux alentours à pied. Ce n'était pas notre cas.
