The Cottage at Corriness House

A very comfortable holiday cottage (each bedroom has its own bathroom) in a lovely little highland village. You are a couple of minutes walk from the strolling along the loch/sea side of Poolewe, and just a couple of minutes in the car from the beautiful Poolewe gardens - well worth a visit with it's lovely views of Loch Ewe and lovely plants. There is a village shop a few minutes walking distance away. There is a stunning 6 mile walk which you can do right from the cottage around Loch Kernseray. https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/torridon/lochkernsary.shtml Of course Gairloch is a short drive away with cafes and the fantastic museum there. Slightly further afield you have both Shieldaigs and Loch Marree - all incredibly beautiful places.

good location within the area. Coffee shop and grocery in the vicinity. Great parking

Not sure

Cottage is lovely and comfortable. Had everything you needed for a week long stay. Hosts were very helpful when the heating needed fixed on arrival. Came and sorted asap. Would definitely visit again.

Pillows a bit lumpy but that's being really picky!

Great cosy cottage, very clean with great beds. Easy to adjust heating when needed. Kitchen was well equipped. Fantastic location in the mountains.

Ran out of loo roll, so just had to head out to local shop for some more, but apart from that place was perfect.
