Excellent location, could not ask for more! Secure and hidden from the street, quiet and private. The apartment is surrounded by bars and restaurants, yet you hear none of them. Good kitchen, quaint decor, good shower. Having a washing machine with a 20 minute cycle is a bonus.
My back prefers a firm mattress and this did not have one. Also no air conditioner and Colmar experienced 40 degree weather whilst we were there, a pedestal fan was welcome but did little to relieve the heat. It appears they would have great heating if required.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Mitten im Zentrum und doch sehr ruhig in einem Hinterhof. Wir konnten mit dem Auto kurz vor die Haustüre fahren um die Koffer ein-und auszuladen und haben nachher das Auto in einer 7min fussläufig gelegenen Parkgarage parkiert. Für diese Parkgarage haben wir eine gratis Einfahrts-und Ausfahrtskarte vom Gastgeber bekommen. Kommunikation war gut und verständlich.
Die Ausstattung war gut.
Das Bdezimmer und die Toilette sind getrennt.
Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein.
Die Haustüre schien uns nicht ganz so sicher. Es kamen aber selten fremde Menschen in den Hinterhof.

The location is great and the host is nice. We came with a baby- and the baby cot was kind of broken with no sheets... The house is cool.but I wouldn't recommend you to go there is you are coming with a child. Of you are a couple with no children then this is great
