An unforgettable stay — the people at Maha Hills make it truly special Our stay at Maha Hills was one of the most memorable experiences of our entire honeymoon. The setting is beautiful, the activities are wonderful, and the wellness experience offers something genuinely different. But what makes this place exceptional is its people. Ardi — an extraordinary manager Ardi deserves the highest recognition. He is one of the most genuine, thoughtful and dedicated hospitality professionals we have ever met. He went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a resort manager, personally checking on us, remembering the little things and making sure we were happy throughout our stay. When I became unwell, he even went out of his way to arrange traditional remedies for me. His kindness, warmth and attention to detail are something we will never forget. Ardi is an absolute credit to Maha Hills. Andre — outstanding restaurant service Andre was another absolute highlight of our stay. He greeted us warmly at breakfast and dinner, remembered our preferences and consistently made us feel welcome. As someone who doesn’t eat terasi, I was blown away when Andre arranged for the kitchen to prepare THREE different sambals especially for me. That level of personal attention is extraordinary. His humour, friendliness and genuine care made every meal enjoyable. Andre is a legend and a huge asset to the restaurant team. Aya — warm, welcoming and wonderful Aya helped make our stay even more memorable through her warmth, friendliness and wonderful service. She made us feel comfortable and welcome, and her positive energy added to the experience. Thank you, Aya, for being such a lovely part of our honeymoon. Catur and Dayu — wonderful members of the team Catur and Dayu also deserve special recognition. Every member of the team contributed to the welcoming atmosphere that made our stay so memorable.

Wow! It is really a wonderful place and the staff did everything to make it better and better for us! The view on the rice fields is insane and it is an oasis on the green hill. The nearby restaurant monk’s kitchen is also amazing! I definitely want to come back and I can recommend the villa on the top of the hill very much. Thank you for making our stay that special!

Maybe a bit overpriced pick up and transport prices since the location is hard to reach by grab, but it is in the middle of nowhere.

I keep coming back to this property because it’s incredibly beautiful and serene. It’s like being in a constant state of meditation with breathtaking views and calming sounds of water! More importantly the staff are truly first rate and their hospitality is unmatched.

We had such a nice stay here. I’d read a few comments about the stairs before coming, but it really wasn’t a problem for us. There’s a little shuttle car that takes you between the lobby and restaurant if you don’t feel like walking. We also took the free shuttle to Aling-Aling Waterfall, which was a really nice bonus and ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. The room was beautiful, the views were amazing and everyone working there was so friendly. It’s a bit away from everything, but that’s what we loved about it. Really peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely come back.
