A perfectly located, wonderful place to enjoy beautiful Reggio-Emilia!

I visited Reggio Emilia for one brief day. I had a photo/video project to do at the Santuario della Madonna della Ghiara, a famous shrine in the city, in the care of the Friar-Servants of Mary. So, I looked immediately for a place close to the Sanctuary/church. A quick search of Booking.com gave me the Reggio Lovely and I am beyond happy that I booked it..."EXCEPTIONAL" is my word for this utterly convenient, well-fitted out, quiet studio with an incredibly helpful host! My ONLY regret was that I could only stay for one night. It would have been the perfect place for a week! The apartment/studio was large, airy, super clean, and well-appointed with a queen bed, a couch, TV, large dining table+4 chairs, a complete small kitchen (I.e., 4 burner stove, full fridge+separate freezer, coffee maker, electric teapot, toaster, microwave, AND A CLOTHES WASHER!!! The bathroom was also perfectly modern with both toilette+bidet, shower, sink, etc., and it's own window, always an extra "plus." Occasionally, I have found Italian accomodations not too well lighted, or having too few sockets to make charging appliances/devices easier. But the Reggio Lovely has it ALL, plenty of bright lighting, a ceiling fan (in addition to the very welcome air-conditioning unit), plus all the sockets I needed to keep my phone, computer, and camera equipment charged and ready. BTW, the Internet was also instant and strong. As I said, I was sad only with just spending one night...I would add, and importantly, that the owner/manager, Andre, helped me immensely as I had trouble with the online "check-in" form on my phone. But when I messaged Andre about it from the train station, he phoned me almost immediately and we worked through the problem and resolved it quickly...wonderful, and the extra bonus for me was Andre's perfect English. My final evaluation: Exceptional, top-notch, 100% recommended!

Le logement cosy , idéale pour un séjour solo ou pour un couple. L'intérieur est très charmant, un grand lit, des prises à côté. Nécessaire pour petit-déjeuner (cafetière à dosettes, grille-pain, bouilloire), et pour cuisiner avec la présence d'une petite gaziniére électrique , poêle, ustensiles de cuisine. Une cour extérieure est présente , agréable et calme. Salle de bain fonctionnel avec douche , wc, bidet, lavabo et fenêtre. Appartement calme, idéalement situé au coeur de Reggio del Emilia pour se balader à pied, café , supermarché à coté. André est sympathique, serviable.
