Wonderful space, and different areas to enjoy, the pool area and the top floor sunroom and balcony were perfect places to handout. The house is massive and had plenty of space for a family, the off street parking was also a nice addition. The pictures don't do the place justice, it's a really big property with lots space and Paul Do Mar is a fantastic place to stay, we loved it. The location is great, while the houses are all close together, it's very quiet at night, and peaceful listening to the sea.

We did have to go on a bit of a cockroach cull for the first couple of nights, but this did stop eventually, so perhaps we got them all in the end. I'm not sure this is unique to this property, as it's something reported in other coastal regions on the island. There was a strong drain smell in the smaller of the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. The house could do with some more subtle lighting, all the lights even bedside lights were quite bright and imposing. It would have been nice to have some softer lighting, as most of the lights were a very bright white light. Apart from these details we couldn't fault our stay.

Sehr große Villa mit viel Platz, toller Blick auf‘s Meer, zentrale Lage in Paul do Mar - kleiner Hafen, Restaurants, Promenade - alles bequem auch fussläufig zu erreichen.

Ausstattung insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen und eher lieblos zusammengewürfelt, Küchenausstattung wie hier schon beschrieben eher dürftig, Neonlicht (sehr helle Energiesparleuchter) im Küchenbereich/Essbereich. Kommunikation mit Vermieter läuft zwar schnell via booking, Infos über An-/Abreise, Unterkunft und Umgebungs-Tipps aber jeweils nur auf konkrete Nachfrage - auch die Infos in der Unterkunft selbst nur wenig aussagekräftig. Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
