Definitely 5Star *****. Full of history, beautifully restored, wonderful staff, elegant breakfast, imaginative and comfortable rooms - everything was to our liking. Plus the scenery. Do stay.

Location.
We stay here fairly frequently. Staff efficient as usual.
This time the bathroom was looking a little tired (mouldy).
The fact they’ve stopped putting large bottles of still water in the rooms needs rethought. Two tiny cartons isn’t enough when a coffee machine is provided too. You can’t even get tap water from the bar, you have to buy more mineral water.

Been aiming to visit ever since the start of restoration and it was fabulous to see the hotel now in such a splendid state

We liked the setting close to the Pyrenees and the conversion of an old train station to hotel.
It took 30 min to check in. The connection to wi-fi was pretty cumbersome, I had to go down to frontdesk for setting up. No bottles of watter in the room. We asked reception for a bottle opener, which never arrived.
