This is my second visit to El Tesoro, and I can only say that it is a magical and wonderful place; I am always delighted by it and will come back whenever I can. I love having everything in one place—the atmosphere, the food, the music, the bar, and the pool are all so beautiful, and the sunsets are absolutely stunning.✨🏖

This was our 4th time staying here. Would definitely recommend. Pools are so clean , staff is super friendly and the grounds are beautiful. Will come back again

Situated on genuinely beautiful wide beach with gentle waves (compared to many spots on the Pacific coast). The hotel itself is starting to show some wear and tear with the passing of years but still quite nice.

This Hotel was built in 1978!!!
Do not stay here if you can’t stand musty old smells!! That’s the first thing you smell when you come in through the lobby. The whole building, including the rooms smell like that. The walls are falling apart, some places in the hallway have leaks on the ceiling. Some roofs are covered by plastic tarps because the old tiles are broken and the owners don’t care to fix them. The customer service sucks!! We arrived in the evening and the front desk guy just handed us an old fashioned key and had the security guy lead us to our room down a looong creepy hallway!!
No one cared to tell us about breakfast in the morning. We had to ask about dinner, to see if it was available. When we got to the restaurant outside, only one by the way. Service was sooo slow, first we didn’t get acknowledged then after sitting our selves down we had to flagged down a waiter to come take our order. By the time the food got to us it was cold! I am sorry for those like us that were expecting a better premium Hotel based on the pictures advertised by this app. Read the reviews!! I didn’t!! The only thing going for this place is the long stretch of beach!!
