Great place, great neighborhood, great beaches nearby

We found this listing on the Vrbo site, and after researching similar properties, we chose to stay at the Haibus Place. When making the reservation I noticed there was a small discrepancy in the pricing listed and what I saw on another site, and reaching out to the owner Larry he immediately indicated he would give us the lower price that we saw listed. I was a bit worried about the check in as I was told it was a self check in, but the day we were to check in, Larry the owner gave us very detailed instructions on how to obtain the key in the lock box, use the fob for opening the security gate to the property and get to our room, extremely easy self check-in process. We bought some groceries and were able to cook a couple meals in the well stocked kitchen, everything worked well and even did several loads of laundry. Across the street is a hotel with restaurant and bar if you want a convenient restaurant, and approximately a three block, five minute walk gets you to a very beautiful secluded beach. 100 yards down the beach is a high-end restaurant with a beautiful bar overlooking the secluded beach, and we were there 3 of our 4 days for amazing sunsets and cocktails. The only thing to be aware of is because of its location you will need a rental car or a taxi to get into shopping or restaurants in town or the supermarket. Very nice place, accurately advertised, very helpful and responsive owner.

Nice one bedroom in gated apartment building: clean, full kitchen, has washer and dryer, good A/C, WiFi. No frills: no view, not on beach, not close in to town or restaurants. Good price, so perfect for me!
