Accessible by motorboat - the house offers privacy, comfort, and uninterrupted sea views in a rare island setting. The home features a spacious sea-facing balcony furnished for both dining and relaxation, plus deckchairs for sunny days. A large glazed conservatory with a dining area provides a cozy retreat on cooler evenings. Inside, the bright, fully equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove, and panoramic sea views. The living room offers a sofa, a fireplace, a TV, and Wi-Fi. Sleeping arrangements include three bedrooms: one on the ground floor with a double bed; an upstairs bedroom with a double bed beneath the eaves; and a third bedroom with two family bunk beds, accessed via its own entrance from the balcony. The house also includes a full modern bathroom and a washing machine. Knekteholmen is a quiet island with only two houses located close, but it is positioned in a way that leaves your sea-facing side completely private. Swim directly from the rocks or the jetty using the bathing ladder with caution. Contact the owner a day before arrival for instructions, as they’ll meet you at check-in and guide you to the house, located a five-minute boat ride away from Sörvik marina. Guests should bring their own sheets and towels. Oskarshamn, with grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants, is a drive away from the marina, so plan supplies before arrival, as no shops are available on the island. While the island’s calm makes it hard to leave, a ferry trip from Oskarshamn to Byxelkrok is a wonderful option for a day excursion.
