About this villa rental
Teacher's Cottage is a fully equipped 130 square meter house located in a beautiful area of rural Rethymno, on the outskirts of Agia Triada village. It boasts all modern facilities, a private swimming pool, and can accommodate up to 6 guests.
Through an impressive garden, you'll reach the house, which features three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds) and three bathrooms (two of them are en-suite to the bedrooms). One of the bathrooms is designed for wheelchair users. On the ground floor, there's a living area with a dining table, a fireplace, a sofa, satellite TV, and an open-plan fully equipped modern kitchen. On the upper floor, there are two more bedrooms, each with a balcony. All areas are air-conditioned and fully covered by WiFi internet connection.
From the ground-level rooms, the outdoor areas are accessible via stairs and ramps, which have been specially installed for individuals with mobility impairments.
In the outdoor space, there's a 35 square meter private swimming pool with surrounding furniture and BBQ facilities. The villa is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
The area is tranquil and rural, just 1 kilometer from a traditional tavern, 4 kilometers from the beach and the resort of Platanes, and 11 kilometers from Rethymno town with its numerous tourist attractions.

We had a fabulous week here. The cottage is very spacious and clean and a great location to explore Crete if you have a car. Rethymno is only 18 mins away and we visited often. Beaches, Knossos Palace, Olive oil tastings, Gorges and amazing food all contributed to make a memorable week. The pool is cleaned often and the house was cleaned on Wednesday leaving fresh towels. Thank you it was a great week.

We stayed in this villa for 8 nights with three teenagers and we had a really lovely time. The owner of the house Manos was really helpful with all our enquiries during our holiday and also had no problem with us arriving at the villa at 2 pm at night.
The area itself is nice and quiet. Garden was great for sunbathing and the pool was definitely big enough for three teenagers to fool around. You do need to rent a car to stay here, but it was only a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach and a 20 minute drive to Rethymnon old town. We would definitely recommend this villa for anyone.
