The historic Stovall-Barnes House is a short walk from the Savannah River, the medical district, the Cyber Center, and many of the city's most dynamic entertainment venues, restaurants, and museums. This charming home retained some of the original wood floors, windows, and moldings. The new modern kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Includes stackable w/d, smart TVs, wifi, plush linens, and gated off-street parking. Outside in the courtyard, there is a beautiful masonry fireplace to enjoy along with a gas grill and patio seating. There is even a putting green to practice your putts! This unit is on a property with other VRBO listings. If you are in search of a place to house a large group for a wedding, girls weekend, family reunion or business function, please inquire about the availability of attached and nearby units on the property. Each unit, however, is it's own separate apartment that is completely private from the other units. There is the main house that has 4 units that share a common breezeway and then there is a stand alone building behind the main house with just two units. This is the upstairs of the two units in the stand alone building.

The place is cozy and clean. There is so much character!!! The outdoors fireplace is such a cool touch on a not-so-warm night. I love the privacy and the closeness to downtown!!! Shelly you are a GREAT host!!! Thank you for such wonderful hospitality.

This is my 2nd stay and it was cozy, comfortable and convenient to everything. A stones-throw from South Carolina and everything in downtown Augusta. I love the backyard fireplace and seating. It’s near everything yet safely tucked away.

The host was very responsive! Check-in and check-out were easy. The property is gated which was nice. The amenities were up-to-date and enjoyable!

Everything was pleasant. The only complaint I really have is the loudness of the adjacent business. Wednesday through Saturday nights, around 9 pm to 12 am, there is very loud music that can be felt through the bed. Ear plugs work decently. Otherwise, I would stay here again. The outdoor patio area is fantastic and all the guests that I met were very kind.
