Atelier Ciel

The location was ideal, with a stunning view of Lake Jindabyne. It's in East Jindabyne in the Tyrolean Village, about a 7 minute drive to Jindabyne township. This was the first time I had stayed in East Jindabyne, and I now prefer it to staying in the Jindabyne town area. There was level drive in access to the property with room for our 2 cars. The house was comfortable and kept warm with air conditioning. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The downstairs bedrooms and bathroom had under floor heating, which helped to keep the rooms warm at night.

It has a great view over the lake and although a little out of town, the drive only took 5-10 mins. It was very hot during our week stay (Feb) and although the house is well set up for the snow season, we did need to ask for a fan for our daughter’s room downstairs. A quick email and a fan was delivered promptly. The air cons on the top 2 floors, were quiet and efficient. The pantry/ cooking pots and pans/ cutlery etc were very well stocked. Loved the little balcony and would have used it more had the weather not been so hot. We had a great time in this comfortable house and would recommend it.

On arrival, we found the fridge hadn’t been turned on for us and had to wait for it to get cold before emptying our esky into it. Perhaps an oversight?
