Very clean and finished to a high standard

Could do with a choice of firmer pillows

The house was very clean and great value for money. Great location for the lake district.

The only one negative thing was the 2 sofas they have in the livingroom. Very uncomfortable and old. They really need to replace them as it let's the whole place down.

Mostly, the cottage was lovely. It was clean.and mostly comfortable. The facilities were good and it was cozy.

The front door didn't lock. The sofas were small and uncomfortable. It was slippy outside in the back garden when wet. It was slightly further out of the centre than we thought, so we drove rather than a preferred walk.

Location was great, able to walk easily to shops and cafes nearby. Bathroom was nice with a lovely big bath. Nice and warm, heating worked well. Onstreet parking right outside was very handy.

I wish I'd listened to other reviewers about the beds, they are SO uncomfortable and we had sore backs all week which put a dampener on our holiday. The house would benefit from a thorough deep clean and some maintenance, the floors were dirty and it was very dusty. There was dog hair everywhere and the rug in the living room was smelly. Dirty dishes. Toaster didn't seem to work. Sofas were also uncomfortable and stained.
