Sterling Banashree Badami

Excellent family-friendly stay in Badami! Finding such a high-quality hotel in a remote location was a wonderful surprise. Check-in was completely smooth, and the rooms and bathrooms were both spacious and spotless. The swimming pool is also large and very clean.A special mention goes to Tenzing, Vasanth, Hassan, and the entire staff for being incredibly polite, friendly, and supportive. Their restaurant is a massive plus since nearby dining options are limited. The full menu was available, the food was delicious, and room service made dining effortless - all at an affordable price. The thoughtful restaurant staff even suggested ordering ahead so our food was ready upon arrival, saving us any wait time. With a decent breakfast spread, an available dinner buffet, and quick, responsive housekeeping, we had a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

1. Several fixtures like the door chain, kettle, shower gel dispenser etc were not working properly. Given the property is only 4 years old, these little things have already started to fall apart. 2. There's no seating arrangement near the pool and towels are not readily available. 3. There's only one baby chair in the restaurant which was making it highly difficult for people coming in with babies.

Great location. Well maintained property.

I had a small accident at the property when the railing in front of the room fell and I suffered with some bruises and scratches. However there was no first aid available in the hotel, not even a band aid. The response from staff was immediate but it took more than an hour to get the first aid. This could have become serious.

The place, ambience, facilities etc

Restaurant service was bad. We had to wait for a long time to get our lunch. It was not disabled or senior citizen friendly. No elevators so one has to climb a flight of stairs to the restaurant or order room service. The reception and recreation center were extremely hot and unbearable

property is set in good green enviornment, weather was good, good breeze, good birds chirping all time.

room is very small, between room and batchroom there need to be a space. its poorly designed. usage of gyser was shocking in 2026. switch to solar, no hair dryer given was another shocker. room has absolutely no decor of any type. looks like owner wanted to save money there. towels are old. room lighting needs improvement, especially night time. food quality is normal, taste is not good, local cuisine is missing. i was expecting to have jollada roti meals, holige. cheff seems to be northindian. they have no clue which bhaji should be how. like we ordered deewani handi. it was BAD. also very few choices to order. forget choice. what is cooked should be of high quality and perfect to taste. in breakfast some items were just too terrible. tasteless, idli was good but chutney without taste. sambhar was good. kitchen and food needs big time improvement. with all such structural flaws room rent and cost of food is on international levels. why should tea, coffee, onion bhaji cost 500 bucks is unfathomable. there was no cleaner for the car. no laundry service.
