Perfect, would definitely book again

Very friendly hosts, any questions we had have been answered quickly. Kids loved the house. Parking on driveway. Highstreet around the corner, with some very nice bakeries. Unfortunately our stay was to short.

Big, empty, dirty house in a ghost town

It was easy to get the keys from the safe box. The place is huge, every single person had his/her own room. Our baby truly enjoyed the trampoline in the backyard. Big balcony. Bathtub.

We had very high expectations for Amnéville. We read a lot about this charming, thriving city. In reality, it is a ghost town with a huge, overpriced zoo, nothing else. The same experience we had with the house itself. The house was empty, cold, unwelcome with surveillance cameras on the ground floor and a bunch of outdated furniture and useless things. There were a bunch of stinky pans and pots and maybe only one suitable for the electric stove. Cooking there was a disaster, despite the size of the kitchen and the living room. Everything smelled like a fish because of the old, stinky pot. Dust everywhere. We spent ours cleaning inside the oven and microwave and scrubbing kitchen and bathroom floors. There was only one tablet left for the dishwasher, we ended up buying garbage bags and cleaning supplies... We arrived with a small child and got shocked that the washing machine is LOCKED. The key has to be requested days before arrival... We spent our entire vacation washing clothes by hand and wasting water. Beds were uncomfortable with hard mattresses. I wouldn't return to this house. It gave us a creepy feeling.

Terrassentür defekt, kann nicht geschlossen werden. Eine von 2 Toiletten defekt. Küchenschränke z.T. defekt. Zu kurze Heizzeiten.

Ruime woning, maar met een privacy aandachtspunt

Ruim en prettig huis, hier en daar wat gedateerd of wat beschadigd, maar door de bank genomen nog steeds een mooie woning, van alle gemakken voorzien. Contact met de eigenaar was functioneel, veel te doen in de omgeving.

De twee camera’s staan er kennelijk voor de veiligheid, maar de camera in de boom aan de achterkant van het huis zorgt ervoor dat er in de tuin, op het balkon en mogelijk ook deels binnen geen privacy is voor de gasten. De voor de hand liggende vragen: wie kijkt er mee en hoe worden de beelden bewaard of beveiligd? Wellicht gaat er hier meer verloren dan dat er gewonnen wordt…

Localisation idéale

La maison est spacieuse dans un quartier calme, ce qui est appréciable. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute. La localisation est parfaite à pied comme en voiture (proche commerces, zone de loisirs...)

le trampoline n'était pas en état. Les enfants étaient déçus de ne pas pouvoir l'utiliser

Un gros plus pour la literie qui pour nous a été parfait. La villa placée à 5m de la citée des loisirs est un grand avantage.

Suffisant pour dormir, insuffisant pour y passer un agréable week-end.

Produits d'hygiène de base : avec le temps, j'ai pris l'habitude d'avoir les produits de base (savon, shampoing, gel-douche) à disposition. Ici, rien, si ce n'est du savon liquide pour les mains dilué avec de l'eau. Lits : la literie double était composée de deux lits simples, formant un creux/séparation au milieu du lit. Les matelats étaient trop mous à mon goût. Matériel de cuisine : la maison est prévue pour six personnes. En revanche, la cuisine est équipée d'une seule casserole et d'une petite poêle. Très insuffisant pour pouvoir faire à manger à toute la tablée. Par ailleurs, pas de sel, poivre, ou quelques dosettes de café pour gérer l'arrivée. Produits de nettoyage : pas de liquide-vaisselle, pas de produit vaisselle. Chauffage : si la température de la maison était agréable, je n'ai en revanche pas réussi à avoir de chauffage dans la salle de bain. Ce qui est désagréable, et encore plus avec un enfant de 3 ans.
