The property served its purpose.

The location was vey good,and the views were amazing.

The bed was quite small and uncomfortable with springs coming through the mattress. Also there was only small deck chairs to sit outside which were not comfortable.

Peaceful with stunning scenery

Our hosts Sue and Steve went above and beyond to make sure we had a happy and comfortable stay. Always there to help, nothing too much trouble. The property has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The spectacular views the peacefulness and the location within walking distance on the beautiful canal towpath to Horseshoe Falls, Chainbridge Hotel, Llangollen town and its many shops restaurants and cafes, riverside walk and the train station.

Great location, good value for money.

The location was perfect for what we wanted as we had come for the Llangollen Eisteddfod. We could walk along the canal straight to the venue.

There were more steps up and down from the property than we had realised.

Perfectly placed.

The location within 30 minutes easy walking of Llangollen town and 30 minutes in the other direction to the Horseshoe falls is perfectly placed for a visit to Llangollen. The views were fantastic from the accommodation. Sue and Steve were very helpful with advice of places to go and eat. The bed was firm but comfortable. We'd forgotten tea and coffee, but no worries here as there were supplies ready. The room was clean and comfortable. The directions to the property were very helpful. Parking provided, we didn't need to use our car while we were there.

The showerroom was a bit small, but everything was clean and the shower was powerful.

Really welcoming hosts, very friendly and keen to make sure your stay is the best they can make it for you.

No cooker, would have been good if a small cooker or air fryer etc was available to make small meals/snacks.

a very pleasant stay

I provided my breakfast. There was tea, coffee, sugar, cutlery and plates and wash up liquid.

There was a dustpan & broom but no big broom to do a sweep up of the floor before I left.

Exceptional

Beautiful stunning place. Steve & Sue were lovely. I can honestly say I got home feeling so refreshed and recharged. Even my 10 year old Staffy enjoyed herself.

It was superb.

There was a fantastic view from the flat. The couple, who welcomed me were kind. They showed me the better walking way near the canal. The flat was big enough, nice and tidy.

The flat was not perfectly separated from the upper flat, where the couple lived: there was a hole on the ceiling.

Westoe Hideaway was in a great location with beautiful views from the patio across the River Dee valley. You could walk down the canal towpath in 30 mins to get to Llangollen Town centre, which has lots of decent pubs and restaurants.
