Hotel Yolo- Chandigarh

At this price they have given more than enough, Staff's were very cooperative and helpful. I'm satisfied with the room & cleanliness (even I checked for dust inside the cupboard with my fingertip, but I didn't find any). I will surely recommend my friends and family to this accommodation, and nearby you can get a dhaba particularly gupta dhaba from where you can have food which is kinda like home cooked not so spicy or oily which is good for travellers. Sukna lake is also very close to this place.

I literally got no reason to say that I didn't like this or that in this hotel.

The host was fantastic, good English and great advice for how to get around Chandigarh

Location - it was near to Sukhna lake and as well as 5 km from Chandigarh Railway Station. The area around the Hotel or as well you can call it a Hostel, was bit deserted being on one side of the Lake. Probably it may suit the IT workers, as the IT Park is very close by. Room Service was very exceptional.

It's literally a Hostel with a makeshift Reception. The Entrance was like a common Household. The room we stayed had patchy walls. The Steps were very Steep with no lift facility.

The staff were friendly. That was about the only good thing.

When I walk in it’s up some stairs and the ‘reception’ is just under the stairs. Then I get into my room, I mean it was bad, no air con (which they said about so I can’t complain) but I couldn’t open the window because there were these hornet wasps flying around outside the window, like a lot of them. There was one in my room when I checked in, so I left the window open, then more came in. It was a whole thing and I’m the end I left this hotel and went to a different one. The room was also small and not very nice, there were dead wasps on the floor and the corridors felt dark and shady, not somewhere I felt comfortable as a solo female traveler. The location is also bad, there’s nowhere nice to eat nearby, yes it is near the lake but you’d be better to stay further west, in the city.
