Signel Poshtel, the Rare Gem of North Borneo

The small and medium-sized rooms are, in my opinion, only suitable for one person rather than two. However, if you are looking for comfort and convenience, I would still recommend them because the location is right in the heart of Kota Kinabalu’s main tourist area. Short stay highly recommend!

There is a lack of detailed information about the facilities. For example, it is not clearly explained that the escalator starts on the second floor of the building, not on the ground floor. As a result, guests with a lot of luggage may need to carry their suitcases themselves, as there are no staff waiting downstairs to assist with luggage. This is something that elderly guests, in particular, may want to take into consideration.

The hotel has the best location is on Gaya Street, so we are easy to join night food market and Sunday market. The room is very comfortable and clean. Staffs are friendly, helpful and warm-hearted.

Considering the cost and it being a 3* it was incredibly clean and tidy, with a large room. The shared toilets and showers were very clean and well presented. The staff were very cheery and polite. The Aircon was quiet enough to sleep with it on which has not always been the case with other places I have stayed. Surprisingly they had Netflix setup for you which I've not seen anywhere else. It has some really good food spots just minutes away. I'm genuinely baffled with how it's 3* and so well priced.
