    I spent about two weeks at KK Backpackers, and it was one of the best decisions of my trip! The hostel is incredibly budget-friendly, clean, and located in a perfect spot just 15 minutes away from the airport and within walking distance to everything you need. The owner, Faith, is an amazing, kind, and generous soul who truly cares about her guests and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The hospitality here is unmatched! Also, if you are lucky, you might get to meet Waw Waw, the lovely resident cat especially if you happen to have some tuna to share! I left KK with beautiful memories, and I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want a cozy, welcoming, and authentic stay in Kota Kinabalu, this is it!
