Lovely peaceful location, friendly neighbours, well equipped and has a homely feel.
Bathrooms weren’t cleaned to a great standard. Towels in bathroom were new but not washed so had a strong factory smell. Mattress too firm but this is personal preference. A coat rack and door mats would’ve been handy as we had some wet weather.

Location, style of lodge
Very dusty/ cobwebbed and spiders. When we arrived the decking was covered in duck poo (dodging with every step!) Yet when we were leaving they were jet washing the decking which definitely wasn't done prior to our arrival Non of which ruined our stay and would stay again just feel it should have been part of the cleaning for every guest stay.
