The property was super centrally located
Well, when we first got there, the fireplace was on and there was no way to turn it off. We told the staff about it and they said somebody would come by to fix it. They fixed it, but then there was no way to turn it on, and they told us the electric fire was a hazard due to fire conditions in the area, not too sure how an electric fire affects fire conditions.
The water filter light on the refrigerator was on when we went there. They repeatedly told us they were coming by to fix it and never did.
There was a loose fence that was not taken care of, and it was banging in the wind at night time keeping us all awake.
The pictures did not necessarily match what we saw. For example, there were carpets in all of the rooms in the pictures, but there were no carpets. The outdoor area was in much need of repair and maintenance, the picture in the listing showed us something very clean and neat and taken care of.

An unexpected bonus was choosing this guesthouse. It was clean, hygienic, and tidy; it didn't feel like a hotel, but rather like home—very cozy. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and I fell asleep quickly. The kitchen in the room had everything I needed; I just needed to buy groceries at the supermarket to cook delicious meals. There was also a dishwasher, so I didn't have to worry about washing dishes after meals. And there was a washing machine, so laundry after returning from the beach was no problem at all!
One of the dining chairs was very loose and posed a risk of collapse, potentially causing injury. One of the beds was also loose; it wobbled and rattled with every turn, which could disturb guests who have trouble sleeping. Hopefully, all these issues will be resolved during my next stay.

Hot tub was great. The place is very cute and comfortable. Great location… just a few blocks from center of town, and the town is delightful.
We had some initial problems figuring out the hot tub, but we were immediately helped and instructed as to what we had to do. It was an easy fix. The owners are very available and willing and ready to help.

The house was very comfortable with very comfortable beds. The hot tub jets were wonderful. Everything was clean and extremely well equipped. There were lovely original watercolor paintings nicely framed on the walls. Location was great. There was a nice seating area in both the front and the back and inside and outside dining tables.
The directions in our confirmation email gave us the door code. But you also needed to turn the knob below the code to the right to unlock it and to the left to lock it. That was not explained so we went to dinner with the door unlocked and had to text to learn the trick. We've asked them to clarify that in the instructions. We got it unlocked by futsing around with the knob but didn't understand what made it work.
There should be clear instructions on how to turn up the temperature on the hot tub. It was set to 98 and both of us are good at figuring out how to work with control panels. We texted for assistance and didn't get an answer for 3 hours and then she couldn't explain what to do. She offered to have the maintenance guy come out but that seemed excessive. On the last morning we finally figured it out. There should be an instruction manual onsite and/or printed instructions. This is basic information. The hot tub was fabulous but 98 degrees was disappointing. Also there were no instructions for the TV. A prior comment about that same thing indicated that instructions would be left. They weren't. Again, leave the instruction manual in the unit or at least leave some instructions for common usage.
There was a wedding reception across the street that was quite loud until 10:30 pm Saturday and the single pane windows didn't block out much noise.
