Great property! We stayed for 2 weeks. An amazing place to relax and unwind. Feels like a little oasis tucked away in the neighborhood. House itself is expertly decorated and has everything you would need for the stay and more. The owners truly go above and beyond. Property is a short walk to the beach (<10 mins) and a few good restaurants (15-30 mins). Bikes are provided and there is easy access to miles of beautiful coastline trails.

Nice spacious house in a good quiet location within easy walking distance of beach. Well equipped with a lot of attention to detail - eg rugs provided so you can sit outside in the evening. Owner and manager were responsive to queries/issues. Driveway is not flat - our car (Nissan Altima) kept grounding on the drive but you can park on the street. SUV should be OK

Have just spent a week in Teresa's beautiful home. Wow, what a place. The attention to detail and furnishings were fantastic - my daughter said it was the most comfortable bed she has ever slept in !! Opportunities to have cosy log fires inside and out, and everything you want in a kitchen. The use of their bikes for the (flat) coastal path was also a great touch. You are personally greeted upon check in by a lovely lady called Lorri who took us around the property and was an appreciated touch. Couldn't recommend this place more.

We had a wonderful time here. The house is in a perfect location to explore the area and has everything you need to enjoy the beach nearby. We especially enjoyed going on bike rides along the coastal trail and to get to local restaurants, and the easy walking access to a nearby forest trail. My son did surf camp during our stay here and it turned out that the meet up for camp was just dowh the road from us. Perfect week!

We loved staying at Teresa and Glenn's beautiful beachouse. The house was immaculate, very well stocked and incredibly comfortable. Close access to beaches, trails, stores was so convenient. Staying there rather than the city really felt like a vacation, it was very relaxing. The owners were very responsive and we enjoyed the delicious wine and muffins they kindly left for us. A special mention to Lorri who greeted us, her kindness and generosity truly touched our hearts and made our stay even more special. It was a perfect stay!

The house is in a nice neighborhood a couple blocks from the beach/harbor. Nicely decorated and very pleasant. We visited the coastside and did San Francisco a couple days (only 30 min drive). Communication and setup was great.

We had a wonderful time at Teresa and Glenn's property! The house is exactly as described and so much more. Whether you're looking to enjoy a quiet stay in HMB or use it (as we did) for home base for your Bay Area excursions, this is a wonderful spot, we could have stayed here forever! The house has all the amenities you need, along with some very sweet surprise treats from Teresa and Glenn. They have thought of everything! Lorri was also very gracious while introducing us to the property and checking us out. She made sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the back yard and fire pit as well as cooking together in the kitchen. We always had everything we needed for whatever we wanted to do. It was also the perfect, relaxing spot to land after a full day of exploring San Francisco. So close to the beach and the adorable downtown HMB we found this to be the perfect spot with all the amenities we could ask for - and so much more! Thanks to Teresa, Glenn, and Lorri for helping to make our family trip so amazing!!! We can't wait to come back and stay here again.

This was one of the cutest VRBO properties in which we've stayed, and we've stayed in many. We've never had the personal check-in experience that Lori provides. She was so sweet, had some great restaurant recommendations and all the extra goodies she left were just above and beyond the usual amenities. The house itself was in a great location, and made it easy to travel the coast north or south and was a quick drive away from the city, where we attended a concert. Although we were there during the atmospheric river / bomb cyclone event, we built a fire and stayed cozy while watching it rain. The house decor makes it fun to stay indoors and explore all the whimsical details and book collections throughout. Thank you Lori for the care you take and thank you Theresa and Glenn for sharing your home with us. We hope to return some day. Sherri and David Flagstaff, AZ

Overall I am extremely satisfied with our stay. The owners Glenn and Teresa were great in communicating the house and check-in process, and provided some great recommendations for food and activities. The house is amazing, everything was very clean and in a great location near the beach and they city, and the back yard was perfect to sit and enjoy the nice weather. Lorri was very attentive to getting us checked in and out on time, and helped give us a great overview of the house and location. I would highly recommend staying at this house!

Four adults (my wife and I and my mother and father) stayed at this home for five nights. Teresa, Glenn and Lorri made the experience a breeze. A lovely bottle of wine left for us by our hosts was enjoyed by all, not to mention the incredible muffins and cake baked by Lorri's daughter who operates a bakery nearby! The outdoor area is lovely with a fire pit and and a table for outdoor dining, including an electric heater for cool nights. The location is perfect for going to the harbor, the beach or into Half Moon Bay. Nice, fully-functioning bikes in the garage allowed my wife and I to take a ride down to the nearby Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

A wonderful house, with a wonderful welcome!! Lori, the manager, cheerfully greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the house. So much more personal and welcoming than a lock box. We were further welcomed with wine, cheese & muffins. The house was wonderful and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements and dishes needed for a 4 week stay like ours. It exceeded our expectations with a very nice backyard with a fire pit, dining table, grill and heater. The play house was a big hit with our grandchildren, with an added surprise of basket of toys waiting for them inside. Our stay at this VRBO could not have been better!! Thank you Theresa, Glen and Lori for making our stay so wonderful!! The location of Half Moon Bay was also very good.

Great stay at this coastal home. The accommodations were excellent and the property has everything you need for a relaxing coastal getaway. We had an incredible experience at the Beach House. The house was impeccably clean and the attention to detail all over the house transported our family instantly into vacation mode. The house has an incredible book collection -- children's books, coffee table books, novels, and historical books - that completed our transport into this magical seaside town. The kids (ages 1, 3, 7) loved the club house in back and it was fully loaded with beach toys, blankets and games. The fire pit in the back is perfect for cozy evenings. My family of 5 (kids ages 3, 8 and 9) stayed here recently and LOVED it! Lorri met us at check in and check out and was super helpful and sweet. The amenities, like boogey boards, the kids’ playhouse, the beach towels, washer and dryer, etc were all a major bonus and made our stay very comfortable. The property is beautiful and the location is even better than I expected. The neighborhood is quiet and you can hear the ocean at night, since it’s just a 5 minute walk away. We will definitely be coming back! I would even come here with girlfriends for a relaxing girls’ trip or just my husband and make it a romantic stay.

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Half Moon Bay, and hope to book another stay this fall in Teresa and Glenn's beautiful home. We have stayed in many vrbo's over the years, but this experience stands out as one of a kind, in terms of the care that Teresa & Glenn have taken to make their guests feel pampered. We were warmly greeted (via safe social distance) by the lovely property manager Lorri, with some surprise toys for our daughter to play with, as well as an assortment of delicious treats (wine, cheese, yummy baked goods) that made us feel so welcome and at home. Communication was also excellent throughout the stay. We had not had a vacation in quite a long time because of the pandemic, so it was truly such a gift to be able to relax and enjoy the beauty of this home, as well as the gorgeous surrounding beaches. We're careful about taking COVID precautions, and our hosts took great care to ensure every one's safety -- the home is spotless and was also stocked with cleaning supplies and extra masks, just in case! We are truly grateful for this restorative week away from it all. Thank you to our gracious hosts.

From the moment we walked up to the charming front entrance and were warmly greeted by Lorri we knew we were in for a relaxing retreat. The beautiful home is filled with nautical decor, vintage treasures, homey touches and tons of books (which this bibliophile was thrilled to see and read!) The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need and more. They even provided popcorn, hot chocolate, s'mores kit, juice, wine and a delicious chocolate cake when we arrived! Beds were all super comfy with high quality linens. The entire house was sparkling clean and they even left a caddy with extra sanitizing supplies for peace of mind. Perfect location, very quiet neighborhood less than 10 minutes from the beach and even closer to Quarry Park trails. Breakwater BBQ and Sam's Chowder House and many other restaurants close by. Get takeout and enjoy at the beach or in the spacious backyard! Amazing hosts with great communication, and Lorri, the caretaker, is so personable and welcoming! We can't wait to come back again soon for a longer stay!

Our stay in July in the coastal community of El Granada was greatly enhanced by the comfortable elegance of this well appointed property. The hosts thought of everything to help us feel at home (snacks, wine and breakfast treats upon arrival, plenty of books, games and movies, and a well stocked kitchen with all the essential cleaning supplies.) The house and the yard are spacious and impeccably maintained. Three of us were in town to visit family and the backyard was large enough to enjoy meals (and s’mores at the fire pit) socially-distanced outside. Beds were comfortable with extra linens, blankets and towels available. The location is far enough above the highway to not hear noise from the cars but close enough to easily walk to the beach. We enjoyed a comfortable and restful stay and will most definitely return!

We came back, that should say something! We stayed here last year for 3 months and this year for 3 weeks. The owners are outstanding and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and attended to. It is as comfortable and charming as it was a year ago. We really like this little oasis. It is a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of Palo Alto and SF, yet only about a 30 minute drive away. The town of HMB is only a 5 minute drive away. But the beach is only a 5 minute walk away! It is the perfect little getaway.
