Nothing everything was great!

Option to eat breakfast
Staff allowed me to change the room
I usually book female rooms, but this time I did it wrong, I just noticed when I entered the room, the room was with food, smelly
After they changed everything was ok, if you are a girl don’t stay on a mixed room

It was clean, comfortable and nice
In the 6th floor in the room was really hot at night

Comfortable isolated beds. Cozy room, cute interior, possibility to get a locker. Hostel is located in the centre of city, near to main sights. Tasty breakfasts, very nice personal. You can always ask them for a help or consultation.
My couchette could be a little cleaner. The elevator makes a terrifying sound when it works. Some people in the room may litter in the toilet and bathroom, but it's a problem in all hostels. Hostel is located on the top of the hill, and it might be a problem for someone.

Nice and friendly staff
That I need to make my own bed and the corridor to the room had lights not working properly making it look a bit spooky (considering the walls are painted in black)

Very clean, cool vibes, nice outside courtyard to socialize or take a personal call. Had a beautiful view from the bedroom window. The modern laundry machines were excellent.
It’s on a very steep hill. And only one of the two showers worked in the 14-bunk room I stayed in.

Its very clean, friendly stuff, walking distance (~10min) to the center, good breakfast option
Its not something negative but if you want social hostel and very international environment it’s not the best option.

Very vibrant, lots of events, there a coworking as well
The room was a bit dark. One more lamp and it would be perfect

The property is fairly new, clean, with lots of common spaces. The location is quite good- easy walking to the centre or croix rousse, not overly touristic. My room was efficient. Checkin agent (young gentleman) was very nice and helpful.
There was no housekeeping during 4 nights of my stay, particularly fresh towels. The restaurant was also closed for my stay. The breakfast was kind of sad- also they had a sign for espresso drinks ‘included’ but when asked was told it’s an ‘old sign’, in the typical French manner.

Great place, welcoming staff ! Great location
From the moment I booked (a month prior) they did 3 pre-authorization on my credit card. Very annoying

I had a pleasant stay at this globally standardized dormitory-style accommodation. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities, including a user-friendly washer and dryer — a small but meaningful convenience for longer stays. The setup feels more like a capsule hotel than a traditional dormitory.
The view from the room was unexpectedly beautiful, adding a touch of serenity to the overall experience. I found everything to be well organized and had no particular complaints during my stay. Highly recommended for independent travelers seeking functionality, cleanliness, and quiet comfort.
The capsule housing concept proposed by Kisho Kurokawa in the 1960s — a bold vision rooted in the Metabolist movement — has quietly found its way to Lyon, 65 years later.
Transcending time and borders, the modular ideal continues to evolve, resonating in new urban forms around the world.
A few practical tips for travelers
One point worth noting for future guests: the hostel is located on a slope, so if you’re arriving with heavy luggage, I recommend using the subway(Croix-Rousse station) rather than the bus for a smoother check-in experience.

For an 18-bed dorm room, the capsule-style beds made for an incredibly comfortable sleep, with the curtains able to shut out the light of the room and the pillows being pretty comfortable. The shower & toilet facilities were also incredibly well kept & clean throughout, the showers being some of the better ones I've had in hostels in Europe. Location is also decently good for walking throughout, being close to the city centre and attractions, and the vibes of the place are great, both IF you want to party or just prefer to sleep in, as the rooms are pretty quiet and block out outside noise pretty well.
Accessibility is a problem specifically for the dorm beds, especially if you end up in an upper bunk. There's a railing at the edge of the bed, which combined with the capsule-style bed, make it INCREDIBLY hard to squeeze into and out of an upper bunk bed. Some of the dorm rooms are also up a flight of stairs, so take note when booking. Also do look out for safety in general, as though lockers were provided, someone did have their money stolen in my room, so be careful here (as with all massive hostel rooms tbf). Aside from the restaurant/bar, note that common spaces aren't that spacious, especially for dining/cooking your own food, with a pretty small kitchen/dining area.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Warm welcome, clean rooms, very private little pods, lovely linen. The breakfast was expensive for me, but then I realised how it is very much worth it! It's delicious! And lots of variety. A lovely common space outside to hang out. I definitely will come back again.

There was nothing to dry your hands with, other than the toilet paper. Our room smelt pretty awful and never left

Noisy plumbing at night

Enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. Family room was clean and very funky as per photos. Upstairs didn’t have a light apart from one small lamp at end of bunk beds. Sufficient for reading but not good for navigating steep stairs at night or unpacking bagels etc.
A little disappointed with cleaning service as our room was missed but we asked for extra towels and toilet paper and it was no problem.

Lockers (if you bring own lock). Decent enough place. Good checkin. Friendly staff.
No towel, had to make my own bed - but that's kinda standard in french hostels these days

I stayed for 2 nights. The biggest highlight for me was the social activities they have!! The lobby/cafe area is always super active and fun. I really enjoyed the live music. It’s also super clean and staff is wonderful! Will come again for sure.

I appreciated the capsule system of beds, curtains on each booth. It is clean, calm. The perfect buffet and bar underneath, far from sleeping area where you can choose the breakfast or have a shot in the evening. The location is very good for exploring old Lyon. Wi-Fi works perfectly.

I really enjoyed the interior design of the whole place. Really enjoyed evenings in the shared chilling place and to work in the mornings at the co-working space.
No electrical plugs at the tables on the ground floor of the bar. I understand the co-working place is upstairs but sometimes I felt like staying on the lower ground and couldn't really.

Comfy, clean beds with excellent privacy. All around nice establishment, good value for money. Staff were very polite and helpful.

I liked the cafe in the morning and the staff
My dormitory room was not clean enough. The bunks are like little cubes so it wasn’t very comfortable, and it was a but claustrophobic. One of the showers in the mixed dormitory had no hose, so there was practically only 1 shower for 8+ people. Location is quite out of city center, you can arrive with 1 bus only but that bus ends at 12, and it’s half hour apart.

Excellent hostel.
Good size room with lockers, bathrooms and good showers.
Clean. Good restaurant with discount prices.
Location is very good but it's uphill even though it's a pleasant walk, the neighborhood is very cute.
Maybe mattress could be a little more comfy and the air circulation in the toilets could be turned on.
Also, the price to rent a towel is a litlle high, 5 euros, but its is a good quality towel.

Very nice and modern place. Also quite clean
Big dorm means more people and the chance of noisy most people is higher.

Staff is friendly, location is okay, cleanliness is good. Laundry facilities are convenient and have a decent price
Very expensive for what it is. 10 bed dorm feels very cramped. Air is very bad too. Not really a social vibe since it is more a hostel than a dorm.

Breakfast and having to pay extra for eggs! The meat platter together with the cheese platter was not good as I am vegetarian. Please separate them!

The staffs were friendly and the view outside my room was good.
My head kept on hitting the top part of the bed because of my height and no hairdryer. You have to rent towel I guess but it's fine because I brought mine luckily.
