The property was beautifully maintained, spacious, and very comfortable throughout. The pool was a real highlight and the air-conditioning was excellent. Pierpaola, the property manager, was helpful and always available on WhatsApp. The view was amazing and the location was private. Overall, the villa exceeded our expectations and provided an excellent base for our trip.

The sunbeds around the pool were not particularly comfortable and most of the umbrellas were broken. In addition, the villa’s location, while peaceful and private, was just a little too far away from shops, restaurants, and other amenities, meaning a car was essential for getting around - but that is completely normal for Sardinia and a welcome trade off for the view.

We stayed in the villa for two weeks utilising all three floors of the property. The design of the villa is fantastic and was very practical for our needs, having three teens, one with a partner, and also grandma in tow. Each floor is equipped with kitchen facilities and ample living/relaxing space, so everyone could retreat when they wanted to. That being said, the large terrace with comfy sofas and large dining table were perfect to bring us all together at meal times and in between. Coupled with the gas bbq on the terrace this meant that we rarely needed to cook anything in the kitchen, and instead could do so while mesmerised by the outstanding view - which really is outstanding, and a must see at sunrise. We chose to hire the owner’s Ford Tourneo as we were a family of seven. This was cheaper than hiring separately at the airport and a great vehicle to ferry us around to the beach and other sites. Ivan and Pierpaola picked us up at the airport and were available via WhatsApp throughout our stay for any questions we had or something we needed. Extremely helpful indeed and easy to reach. Alexandra too was very quick to reply and helpful with our questions in the lead up to our stay. Pittulongu is a small village with a few restaurants and a small supermarket which is good for most things. The nearby (15 min drive) Conad Superstore is there for anything else. Pittulongu doesn’t have a nightlife, other than Mama Beach, a bar/restaurant 30 mins walk (down hill) from the Villa and right on the beach. My 70+ year old mother-in-law made the journey down/up the hill on foot at least three times, so definitely doable but it gets a little warm on the way up. Pizzeria Al Volo was one of our favourites; simple, but great pizza, friendly staff and the closest restaurant to the villa. The beach itself is lovely, sandy and a gentle slope into the sea, so very good for small kids. Plenty of free parking right on the beach.

I can’t think of anything that I would want to change about this property.
