The location and price were great.
The owner Carmen met me at the door and came off rude and condescending. Wouldn't let me in the lobby until I confirmed I have read the rules and repeated them back to her. She told me check in is 4pm even tho I sent a request to check in at 3pm that was approved before arriving. There are llots of passing aggressive hand written signs threatening noise, wearing shoes, not locking the front door with $60 charges. Check in 4pm. Check out 10am. Which is a later check in and earlier checkout compared to any other hotel I've stayed at. We felt like we had to whisper and tip toe around or fear the wrath of Carmen. Even when she was trying to be "nice" it came off phony. My $250 deposit was held for two and a half weeks before it was released. It was ok for a night but I wouldn't stay again.
