A Peaceful Escape – Historic, and Heartwarming

This apartment is truly the best of the best – I loved every moment of my stay! I had a fantastic experience at this charming guest house. The landlady was exceptionally warm and thoughtful. She was easy to reach, and communication was consistently smooth and pleasant. This isn’t just a room – it’s a fully independent, historical guest house with large glass windows. Inside, everything was immaculately clean and thoughtfully prepared, equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing and comfortable visit. As for the history of the guest house—well, that's a delightful surprise waiting for you upon arrival! A beautiful, spacious garden lies just outside the guest house—perfect for enjoying a quiet coffee on sunny mornings or afternoons. And be prepared for the most unexpected yet adorable company: friendly cats and chickens who behave more like affectionate dogs! Amazingly, the garden remains clean, even with these little companions around. Security is top-notch with 24/7 CCTV coverage, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The neighbourhood is peaceful and upscale, with clean streets and genuinely kind, welcoming locals. We arrived in March and were lucky enough to witness cherry blossoms blooming right outside the property—a magical sight. While this property is tucked just outside of Paris, getting to the city centre is effortless. The nearby train (RER A) gets you into the heart of Paris in just 20–30 minutes. A Hidden Gem was the beautiful river nearby – ideal for peaceful walks or refreshing morning jogs. It added a magical touch to my stay. This place truly felt like a home away from home. I would return without hesitation. It's full of character and incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

Séjour agréable, reposant au calme dans un quartier sympathique.

Petite maison typique, très jolie, propre et bien équipée, grande salle de bains. Bonne literie. Nous avons apprécié : L'emplacement très calme. Proche des petits commerces à pieds. Accès facile et possibilité de stationner dans la rue, non payante. Gare RER A à 5/10 mn à pieds, recommandé pour se déplacer à Paris. Grand jardin avec petit coin/ terrasse indépendant équipé de chaises et tables de jardin. Promenades au bord de la Marne toute proche. Et surtout, hôtes respectueux de notre intimité et très agréables. disponibles si besoin.

Przytulny, spokojny nocleg z dobrym dojazdem do Paryża

Właściciele byli niezwykle uprzejmi i troskliwi, zadbali o pranie i powitali nas w niezwykle miły sposób.

Jedynym utrudnieniem była bardzo głośno pracująca lodówka. Na tyle, że potrafiła obudzić w nocy.

On se sent immédiatement chez soi. Tout a été pensé pour rendre le séjour plus qu'agréable; depuis le cadre idyllique jusqu'au plus petit détail. Les hôtes sont plus que charmants et disponibles à tout instant.

Schöne und ruhige Unterkunft, abseits vom Innenstadt-Trubel, sehr schön um sich nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag auszuruhe

Super süßes Gartenhäuschen bzw. ehemaliges Künstlerstelier. Schön gelegen in einem urigen Garten. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchen und Veronique hat sich toll um uns gekümmert. Mit dem RER A ist man innerhalb von 30 Min. in der Innenstadt. Optimal für uns!

Charmantes Appartement im Grünen in der Nähe von Paris - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Eine Oase im Grünen und doch ganz nah an Paris. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und nimmt sich Zeit für ihre Gäste. Wir haben uns auf englisch verständigt. Auch mit dem Nachbarn haben wir uns immer mal wieder gut unterhalten - eine sehr angenehme Wohngegend. In dem großen, wunderschönen Garten hatten wir die Möglichkeit jeden Morgen zu frühstücken - und dies immer in Gesellschaft von sehr anhänglichen Hühnchen, die für unser Frühstücksei gesorgt haben :-) Parken konnten wir direkt und kostenfrei an der Straße und sind jeden Tag mit dem fußläufig entfernten RER nach Paris gefahren. Das Appartement war sehr sauber, es ist ein großes Bad vorhanden und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Der Kühlschrank ist ziemlich laut. Irgendwann gewöhnt man sich daran :-)

Très bonne expérience à renouveler.

Merci aux propriétaires pour les biscuits et la bouteille de vin mis à disposition à notre arrivée. Logement au fond du jardin, très calme, bien équipé avec une très grande salle de bains. Stationnement facile dans la rue. Seul petit bémol : le frigidaire bruyant durant la nuit ... sinon, tout était très bien !

Oase van rust vlakbij Paris

We zijn hier eerder geweest, een heerlijk plekje in St Maur, loopafstand van de RER. Vooral ‘s zomers waan je je op het platteland, in de grote rustige tuin als je met een wijntje van de avondzon geniet. Heerlijk!

We zetten de koelkast ‘s nachts uit, want die is vrij luidruchtig. Verder allemaal prima.

Exceptionnel !

Nous avons aimé absolument tout car rien ne manquait à notre arrivée. Nous avons trouvé un joli panier avec biscuits, tablette de chocolat, pot de confiture et un paquet de bon pain de mie pour le petit-déjeuner ainsi que du café et autres denrées. Le studio est très propre et fonctionnel. Véronique est une dame prévoyante et à l’écoute de ses locataires. L’atelier se situe au calme dans un écrin de verdure où l’on peut se détendre. À proximité du quai de la Marne et à 10 minutes du RER A qui est idéal pour visiter Paris. Nous y reviendrons certainement lors d’un prochain voyage.
