Sur une Ile en bord de marne guest house

We stayed again with Clement on our return to the Paris area. He was so kind and supportive - above and beyond. We highly recommend!

Our 4 night stay with Clement as our host was fantastic! The accommodation is excellent, with everything you need. Easy walk to the train station and into the old part of Creteil. Clement went above and beyond as our host; he was just lovely, thoughtful and very helpful.

J'aurai aimé écrire un commentaire de 5 étoiles mais suite aux morsures des punaises de lit qui vit dans la petite maison, même si la maison et le jardin sont super jolis, je donne 1 étoile car c'était vraiment dégoûtant de se réveiller avec plein de morsures et mon propre sang sur les draps... YUCK.  ÉVITEZ jusqu'à ils prouvent qu'ils ont jeté ce matelas et complètement traité la maison et autour ! --- I would have loved to leave a 5-star review but following the bed bug bites I awoke with after staying a few days in this little house, even if the little house + garden are cute, I am obviously leaving ONE STAR because frankly it was disgusting waking up with bites all over and finding bed bug feces containing my blood on the sheets. GROSS. AVOID this listing until the owner proves they have thrown out the blood-stained mattress and fumigated the entire place + garden.

We had everything we needed. Area was lovely with walkways and shops close by.

This property and the owners are undoubtedly the most amazing VRBO. A great location to experience everyday Parisian activity and close enough to Paris. all I can say, it was an amazing experience and can't wait to go back. Thank you so much Leah and Clemens

The property was as advertised but so much more charming than pictures can show. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and a short walk to the city center, which was itself a gem. Clement was more than accomodating and came quickly when we asked. I recommend anyone looking to visit Paris to stay here as an alternative space. We would definitely stay here again.

This little place, as well as the host family is CHARMING! I was a bit concerned about being too far from the city center, but I actually found the location to be so incredibly convenient I'll definitely stay again. It is easy access to several RER and metro lines. The cottage was spotless and we were greeted warmly with a thorough tour of where to find things (including fresh eggs from the hens!), and encouraged to knock on the main door if we had any needs, questions or just wanted to have our laundry run through their dryer instead of using the drying rack. Every need was anticipated, from basics like iron / ironing board, to coffee and condiments, to umbrellas showing up outside the door when rain was forecast. We had fresh figs and tomatoes waiting on the table and bottled water in the fridge. The cottage is well equipped with the essentials including a washing machine and full kitchen. The bath is spacious with heated towel rack and an upscale shower making it feel like a nicely appointed hotel. My only regret is that our schedule and the weather didn't allow us to take advantage of the kayaks or bicycles. In a rating of 1-10 we give this a 12. :)

If you are looking for a quite, safe, cozy and charming neighborhood, it dose not get better than this. The hosts are amazing, hands on, making sure we were ok in what we need. They went beyond their official offerings. If you have kids they will love the bed accommodations on the loft. I will stay here for sure next time I am around.

Superb chalet (Hansel and Gretel style), with a river near the bottom of the garden and use of a kayak if desired. There is a swimming pool and use of an e-bike if you like the idea of evening rides by the river. The old town of Creteil is easily reached, (5 minutes), very charming with a wonderful street market on Sundays. Paris can be easily reached by RER or Metro. We were very touched by the kindness and generosity of the hosts. A birthday cake and champagne appeared by magic when they found it was my birthday. Most touchingly, the lady of the house offered us a lift to the Metro when we were going into Paris for the evening and kindly picked us up from the station when we were returning late. A most kind and generous family who did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful time.We truly appreciated their thoughtfulness and grace. Our lasting memory will be of the beautiful birdsong, green parrots and beautiful fresh tomatoes and eggs from the chickens. We would very much like to return. Merci beaucoup to all the family. The little chalet is beautifully furnished with an open plan downstairs and a modern shower room. Upstairs is a bit squeezy as the ceiling is low but suitable for children despite the steep stairs. The pool, is for your use only, and one day the children used it five times! It is clean, heated and big enough for swimming. The grounds are lovely. There's an electric BBQ, patio furniture and a hammock to relax in. The property owners also own chickens so you can have fresh eggs in the morning! The river is just outside the gate and the old town only five minutes by foot. It is beautiful with a number of eateries. It was just 20 minutes into central Paris on the Metro so we made two day trips there as well as being just a 30 minute car journey to Euro Disney which the kids loved!

I highly recommend this Cottage. I stayed there for almost three months. It was like heaven. It's super quiet and serene but close to everything. It was an enchanting experience! The family is phenomenal; warm-hearted, discreet and always available to help when I needed. We became my friends!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Je cherchais du repos et du vert, nous avons été servis. Le chalet est très propre et bien agencé. Le lit coffre est très confortable. Par contre la mezzanine est vraiment que pour les petits. Mon ado était un peu à l’étroit. Heureusement nous avons eu du soleil, ce qui nous a permis de barboter dans la piscine et de bronzer dans le hamac. Nous étions à 5 min de Creteil village et des bus pour accéder facilement aux alentours. Et merci aux hôtes qui sont adorables et d’une réelle discrétion. Au plaisir de revenir !

Petit gîte, agréable et fonctionnel, dépaysement total, les bords de la Marne sont très jolis, nous avons fait de belles balades en vélo, en canoë et nous avons pu visiter Paris. Propriétaire à l'écoute, et rend réponses rapidement et merci à son fils, qui nous a très bien accueilli.

Coin charmant, propriétaires sympathiques et disponibles, une semaine parfaite pour se mettre au vert tout en étant proche de toutes les commodités! Mon fils a adoré les poules et les tortues 😉. À refaire!

La notion de luxe est très personnelle ! L'endroit n'est pas très grand mais on y trouve l'essentiel, d'une propreté exemplaire et de jolies intentions d'accueil de la part des propriétaires très discrets. Bref, un 5 étoiles, pour moi ! Merci

Le séjour s’est très bien déroulé. À notre arrivée, les hôtes nous ont offert une corbeille de fruits généreuse. Le logement est bien aménagé, propre et avec les équipements nécessaires. La piscine est très agréable et chauffée. Les hôtes ne sont pas intrusifs et restent disponibles en cas de besoin. Si vous souhaitez faire une promenade dans les environs, des vélos sont disponibles.

Déconfinement réussi et surprenant. Je n aurai jamais pensé passer des vacances à Créteil et pourtant... Tout y était, des hôtes charmants et bienveillants, un chalet ou rien ne manque et très propre, un BBQ tip top, un jardin, une piscine chauffée, un kayak, les commerces à 5 minutes et des ballades en bord de Marne à pieds ou à vélo, tout cela sous un soleil éclatant à quelques minutes de chez moi... L île Sainte Marguerite mérite d être connue... Merci à vous pour cette charmante découverte.

Nous avons séjourné un grand week end avec notre bébé et notre petite fille, excellente localisation et très bonnes prestations. Nous étions venus à vélo depuis Paris, pour faire la boucle de la Marne. À recommander pour un séjour proche de Paris mais dépaysant !

Environnement très calme et propriétaire sympathique

Alloggio decisamente accogliente, ben attrezzato per un soggiorno confortevole, i proprietari sono discreti, ma anche molto disponibili. Posto in un quartiere estremamente tranquillo ( ideale dopo il caos di Parigi, per un riposo rigeneratore ) sul bordo della Marna, a due passi dal centro storico di Creteil e dalla metropolitana. Sulla via principale vi sono tutti i negozi necessari per fare la spesa. Nemmeno troppo scomodo da raggiungere dall'aereoporto di Orly ( Tram T7 più bus TVM ) . Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno.
