Location and cleanliness
Could do with a few lamps in the lounge , felt a little uncosy when we arrived back in the eves

Super quiet location with private parking and the beach was only a couple of hundred meters away. Bedding crisp and clean, nice touch with the complementary kitchen box (dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, sponges etc). Some reports of the Wi-Fi being intermittent but we found it a solid service. There was a nice coastal pathway to Salcombe and we found a great coffee shop (The Salcombe Coffee Company) with the most wonderful Brie, bacon and cranberry muffins and a great welcome.
No Vodafone service but we connected to the properties Sky Wi-Fi and were able to keep in contact with the outside world via WhatsApp.
Kitchen floor subsidising in front of the sink and requires looking at ASAP.

The lodge was comfortable, very relaxing, quiet, everything worked. Kitchen was well equipped. Showers were excellent.
Complimentary cleaning pack was a nice surprise as I had forgotten dishwasher tablets (Thank You)
Beaches a short walk 5mins. And Salcome is also an easy walk.
Buses to Kingsbridge/Totnes are once an hour. Closest bus stop is 10 mins walk uphill.
National Trust property Overbecks can be driven too there is parking, but we walked and enjoyed the sea views (North sands, South sands and up to Overbecks, round the gardens there and on up to the walkers cabin at east soar for coffee and cake. A very enjoyable day out.
Microwave was too high for me to use without spilling food.
There was a soft spot in the floor by sink.
The lockbox was awkward to use and no light in the storeroom to see the box after dark
